Am I the only one who thinks Sony is releasing too many phones in too short a time? Almost like Samsung already, spamming different versions of the same thing left and right. But what do I know, I don't run a company...

I love the Xperia designs, but wonder why the Sony screens are nowhere near as good as HTC's, even with their so-called Bravia Engine, Opticontrast or whatever. Hope this ZR screen is really an improvement

Regardless, I still think the ZL, together with Butterfly, is the sexiest phone available today.

Based on customer feedback like yours, Sony will have to make phones in all sorts of colours with all sorts of bezels with all sorts of screen sizes to cater for everyone. Companies like Apple will fail.

So between Z and ZR, why is ZL needed? More choices is a good thing, but still...

Yeah, I was also giving opinion on Sony having too many models and spamming phones. I like Sony too, had the original Xperia X10 and TX. I just feel it's better if Sony can concentrate on fewer models and provide better support, like faster updates for longer period of time, rather than just shoot as many as they can. My original post was about the ZR's screen - I said I hope the screen is better than previous phones like Z, ZL and TX which, even with Bravia Engine and whatnots, is a joke compared to HTC's.

How's the waterproofing for this phone? Problematic with some units like Z, or no problems? Thinking to get one for some vacation pool pics.

Not interested in shatterproof as I don't shatter my phones. But I'm interested in pool pics. That's fair, right?
