it means that I need to enable my mobile data?

when I used garmin with my N82 those time, there is option to use it as free no need to depend on mobile..
if not mistaken... something called integrated GPS?

Those are called offline navigation applications where the map is preloaded in your SD card at takes up lots of space.

Waze however its like Google maps, it is dynamic and it changes due to road closures, detours and floods. The data it uses is pretty minimal, it won't go over 30MB for 12 hours of continuous usage.

Sometimes the moisture from sweaty palms might cause it too.

If your 'android use wireless networks location' is ticked, most likely it is used.

I use GPS status from play store to see GPS signal strength. Some time my ZR GPS very hard to get lock. Is it normal?
*
It depends where you are and what are you under.

Lets say if you're in the basement, it won't lock any GPS.
