And since my SOT is damn low for tdy (keep play my new ipad mini lol) so Google play service is listed in first place of course

i think battery consumption is worsen. standby makan 7% instead of 5% compared to 4.4.2. still monitoring though

really? i felt quite stable la.. nothing much different except smoother

new update quite ok..my battery seems stable than before...5hrs idling only took 1% battery life..

Yesterday finally can survive without a charging to phone while still remain so much battery in idle mode

Have to say, there is an improvement with battery life after 4.4.4 upgrade, even though Google Play Services is still the main culprit for battery consumption.. Or just maybe, factory resetting the phone contribute to better battery performance as well, since that is what i do (unable to upgrade OTA to keep root, have to do it by unlocking and relocking BL).. Usually the battery won't even last half a day with heavy usage, but now, almost 24 hours and battery still at 20%.. Back to the old glory 🙌🙌🙌..

I went to a farm where data connection sucks last time after update to 4.4.2 and by 6 pm my battery was 25%.
Yesterday I went again with 4.4.4, at 6 pm my battery was still 63%. So significant improvement. Btw my Google Play services not running.

If you turn off data it will not run... I've been doing that, manages to last me the whole day

this is so far the best stock rom for our zR, very smooth and snappy ! battery drain issue no longer an issue now !

Data was on. The test was that the battery lasts longer with 4.4.4 while trying to find data signal.

sorry my mistake, i was supposed to say "Location" not data..

My location is always off unless I need it

OK, a few days of testing. The 4.4.4 does seems to be more energy efficient than 4.4.2. Seems to be good news thus far.

Hi Guys, my ZR got 2 problems,

1. malfunction of sliding down the notification of phone, have to try many times only work..

2. There is a ghost touch, after consult with xperia technical support on my problem and my warranty just ended 20 days ago
So would it be software problem or mostly hardware problem? and they suggest me to reset to factory version and see still got this problem, so do i need to update to 4.4.4? or later?
Sony will charge me 600++ to replace the sparepart and outside only 300.
Therefore better get a new phone?haha..

try updating and resetting your phone. sometimes mine also suddenly cant detect any touch, but after lock/unlock screen or activating camera from lock screen via shutter button and back again will make the screen back to normal

How to root without flashtoool installed? Currently using towelroot and haven't update. Phone states that it need computer to update.

Just reset to factory setting and the problem still occur...

so i am going to survey a new phone already and sad to say no sony for next phone... fix it outside at least 300 while sony service center charge me 600++.

Perhaps maybe previously when they replaced me a new phone because of water proof, they gave me a lousy phone? seem no one at here got this problem?

Your case still not consider the worse tho
My dad's iPhone 5 repaired four time within one year
first time is power button hard to be detect during press within few months
then go digi there repair (since he bundle with digi plan), then after repair back found that microphone received sound is too low volume, repaired for second time
then found that battery is too fast to discharging, repaired for third time
After bring back and use for one months ++, the phone is start to quick show battery 1% and shutdowm while the battery level is still got 30%++. initially still ok can open back, after few time the phone is refuse to open back and even charging, even I tried to go inside recovery mode and restore also can't, now digi is refuse to repair, so no choice my dad repair at his friend shop.

My ZR have no problem so far

Recent 4.4.4 update the towelroot doesn't work. Need to flash with flash tool the old kernel then root with towelroot.
