Been trying to update thru OTA since last night but failed. I thought maybe it was the data connection. Trying on wifi at the office also failed. Gonna try with PC later.

Need to borrow data cable from colleague, I rarely carry one these days. Also need to clean up my PC. The update needs at least 5gb of free space on your PC. I only have 521mb left. shakehead.gif

you can still have root if you flash the pre-rooted i prepared. just flash it with your current dual recovery....just download it and place in your sdcard and flash it... laugh.gif

the pre-rooted firmware is with superSU and dual recovery...

Can detect, as long as it's data cable, not power only cable.

Battery dunno yet. But now that you mention it. Haven't felt any heat since the update but it's to soon to tell the differences.

Mine was updated over the air. I downloaded via my home's wifi. To be honest, the phone had became so much of a work horse for me that I didn't bother checking what this new update is all about. I still use the phone as it is without any issues. Need to monitor battery issue, but it seems pretty normal now.

Like I said, it is a work horse, something I just turn on and use.... not a gadget anymore. Just.... use it. tongue.gif

Looking at your snapshot the Google play service still indicate higher percentage. Same like 4.4.2. too bad.

Mine doesn't even show Google Play services. And from 12 noon, battery has gone down 12% till now with regular usage. Haven't tried playing games though. It's also a bit smoother now.
