Just bought a monitor(Philips 224E5QHSB AH-IPS Monitor) which can be support MHL one weeks ago

When I check using PCC it doesn't show anything also

i got 1 MHL cable after buy SONY TV. the cable able to connect my ZL to TV and charging my phone as well.. Must have i think.. maybe can search see this cable if some people dont want..

Even after i force stop this apps running, it automatically run again..and this keep drain my battery life like water!!

If your ZR is rooted, i highly recommend you to install this app called App Ops, it's an permission managing app. Disable the keep awake option under the Google Play Service.

If your ZR is non rooted, sorry I can't advice further...

I'm using AppOpsXposed ( from Xposed Framework ), v1.17.2

You can use the App Ops [Root] by Droid Mate...it suppose to be same....

Phone spec wise seems decent, 2 gb ram, internal 8gb, adreno 320..
Water resistant seems like a plus.

Z1 compact looks like the updated version of it, but i sorta like removable battery. Just a preference though..

Argh same thing happen to me last weekend!    Took it to swiming pool a few times already in several months, works fine but then at the last time after we finish swimming and arrived home, suddenly when I took out my phone from my bag the screen was flickering and half of it already dark! I was surprised because it was fine even after we finish  swimmming that day. I then immediately turn it off then try to dry it out overnight (open cover, battery, flaps) and try to hairdry also but the screen compeltely gone already. Just today I called the service center and they say cannot repair so can only exchange with new phone. That means I'd loose all the data inside it!    Very dissapointed now with this phone and will never trust any waterproof phone anymore.

Is there a way to get the data back from the phone?? Because the phone itself actually still works, just the screen dead. Apprecaite any help on this.

p/s:I rechecked the dead pixel, it seems like dirt more than dead pixel for me, i should send it to service centre or any alternative way to identify it?
