Hello all. Any one update their ZR 4.3 thru OTA and managed keep the phone rooted? Is it possible to create ftf file for rooted ZR? Plans to upgrade to 4.3 but worried if the root gone.

I got my .101 update OTA yesterday. No problems whatsoever. Smooth download. Just a minor update, I think. The download package is only around 35MB.

Interesting to note on the following page screenshot that at the end of that Xperia ZR Android version overview that Kit Kat is clearly in the firmware update route for Xperia ZR.

Battery life seems to have improved a little bit. I do notice that the phone is not hot for the whole of yesterday & today. Will need to monitor further....

hi, when I view through the comments, I am quite confused. Can you guys correct me if I got the wrong msg?
-There's an update .101 which is better than .569?

I have some questions too in my mind,
-can I skip .569 and straight go to .101? (or I should stay at android 4.2?)
-any recommended apps/games ?

you cant update the old firmware anyway, you'll be updated straight to the newest one. I'll recommend Airdroid thumbup.gif
