As the title said, I have dry and chapped lips. Any recommendations I can easily get from drug stores?? I tried Face Shop's Fresh Lip Balm and another brand Metholanum (or something along that line). And it just feels like they dry up my lips even more rather than moisturizing it.

The only other brand I tried that felt like it actually moisturizes my lips was US's Buxom brand lipgloss, but you can't find it here.

So yeah, any recommendations for lip balm/gloss or something that actually moisturizes??

you may want to get yourself checked.

Chapped / dry lips is often associated with vitamin deficiencies.

Whenever I have chapped lips, i would use Nivea Repair (light green packing). Or you may wanna try The Body Shop Bornlippy. Its not only a flavorful balm, it also have staying effect - not easily rub off or dissapear. I'm sticking to this now. It may not make your chapped lips smooth at once, it could help after several use. Though at first application, you can still feel your lips improved a bit.
If you're prone to have chapped lips, always apply lip balm/moisturiser, even at home and not in an air-conditioned room.
Well, those are my experience, hope they'll help wink.gif

I also have a same problem like you.. been trying lots of brand in the market.. bodyshop, H2O..etc.. result still the same.
Finally.. I found Mary Kay lip spa.. it comes with Lip Masks and Lip Balm. Price reasonable n problem SOLVED.
Been using it for just a month.. but u definitely happy with it.
Let me know if you need to try.. I can pass u my contact.. she also do the skincare as well..

I am on Accutane and constantly have dry and chapped lips. so far only 2 products work:

1) Forever Living
2) Mentholatum Lip Pure (must be Lip Pure , frangrance free as it contains similar ingredients like Forever Living )

MLS quite good. My lipstuff.com... They have 500 flavors.. Been using it for like erm... 2 years... featured in few mag. THumbs up.
there is this lady selling it in KL. Cheaper. save on shipping fees.. but dunno why no more since last year..

U can try checking out barysimple on fb. and the blogspot.
They import from US but 50 flavor only... better than nothing lor..... If i want other flavors. i go over to MLS US to get.

Very natural. Moisturises. I stop using lipsticks and gloss coz none suitable for me. Tend to dry em up. and i've got chapped lips. So i tend to chew and peel them. Bad habits.

This lippy moisturises and has yummilicious smell. Use beeswax instead of vaselin to lock in moisture. and all other natural cocoabutter and oil to moisturise to prevent chapped lips smile.gif

I would highly recommendi unrefined shea butter...this is the ultimate moisturiser for skin, hair, and especially for lips because it is safe and edible. You can buy these from www.pameriorganicmalaysia.com and their facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PameriOrganicMalaysia

i love lip balms. my favs : burts bees, body shop hemp lipbalm, clarins lipbalm, maybeline babylips is fine too, dior lipbalms.

not only that, u can exfoliate ur lips by using scrubs.. such as fresh sugar scrubs from sephora. and also theres a scrub i use from skinfood for lips. both are good.

You can try this lip balm from NUXE

http://skinfrosting.wordpress.com/2013/06/...-miel-lip-balm/

They are really good. I applied them to my dry flakey lips at night and I wake up to super soft lips. You can use it day or night but I just like to use it as night treatment, preparing my lips for when I use my lipsticks the next day smile.gif
