Hi Guys,

Just want to share my latest info regarding fake perfume. I've found out that, there is fake TESTER perfume on online market now. They are using "original" tester box but with fake perfume inside. This is the info that has been pass to me.

- Using standard TESTER Unit perfume box.
- The bottle quality is not up to standard.
- The smell last but only the top note.
- Price are unreasonably cheap for high end perfume.
- Printing quality on bottle is bad sometimes with error on where the perfume are made from and spelling error.

So be careful when buying tester from online seller (I'm a seller to tongue.gif ). This kind of seller really damaging the online market. If found one, wish to cut their heart out with a spoon. vmad.gif

Cheers.

Ya lor.....some people think our money just drop from the sky or pluck from tree tepi jalan. I don't mind people selling fake perfume, its a free market and customer right to choose as long they are telling the truth. But cheating.....I really dunno what to say. Dog also never lie when they are hungry. ohmy.gif

Can I ask who or which website is this? At least I would know so I won't go to that online seller. If you don't feel comfortable mentioning names here, please PM me. I don't want to start a war! smile.gif
*
Well....i wish I also know who it is. But as you say, nobody want to start a war is exactly what has been said to me by my sources. I guess we must be very care full when dealing online. Make sure we really know what we are buying. This news personally do effect me as guy who tried to find extra income through online. cry.gif What to do. World or www is just not fair. The right thing can do is spread information what to look for when buying things online so other people will not get cheated easily. That is why love this thread. Tons of knowledge can be learn from a lot of sifu here. thumbup.gif

here's a basic guide to identifying them:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/HOW-TO-SPOT-FAKE...01861892/g.html

if buying online, always remember that if it is too good to be true, it probably is. Perfume price points should be around RM150 for 100ml and 300 for niche even for testers. anything lower than that and the chances of it being fake is high.

buying from other perfume lovers = 0% of fakes

Thanks for the link bro. Will spread the knowledge to my customer. rclxms.gif

I would love to but in view of my limited photography skills and with no bottle worthy of showcasing, I'll just count on other old-timers here.

Bro....it does not matter what the picture will look like. The most important thing is what the picture is all about. notworthy.gif drool.gif

Hi. Im looking for a soft but sweet cologne for a twenty something. Longevity doesnt really matter but projection does. I hope all the perfume gurus can help here. Gonna use the cologne for casual outings. Hehe happy cny!

I suggest that you get miniature or vials from all the suggestion by the sifu and try out before getting a full size. Different people do have a little bit of different of smell when the base note sets in.

The partner complained my colognes too strong and pungent (Davidoff Hotwater, Cerutti).

Any suggestions on a mild cologne? One that has a milder scent?

Is Davidoff Coolwater mild? What about Ralph Lauren?

Any tips appreciated.

ps. i got a recommendation of Bvalgari Pour Homme as having a mild scent.

Ralph Lauren - Polo Black

Just got my hands on encre noire today, very dark, bold straightforward. If Prof Snape were to wear a perfume, i think it's gonna be this one, 7 days a week.
