Amouage is actually already one of mine. but it will always be second to Guerlain. In terms of complexity only Serge Lutens beats them. I'm so loving my bottle of interlude

i tried III,IV,V and VI,and VI is really nice.the opus line is really cool

i cannot stand III,sweet like crazy.the mimosa and one more note i cant really recall,vanilla i guess,are so potently sweet that i dont know who can wear this and to where.
IV is nice as well with the rose nicely done,its a special rose i remember,may appear more feminine.from the opus line,my fave is IV and VI,i like the hint of spiciness in VI,is it chili or pepper in it??forgot la
i cant recall how opus V smells like,too long ago

Because i wanna smell like a Chinese temple on friday.

a perfumer friend told me its not real sandalwood in tam dao but cedarwood and coconut accord that  gives it the sandalwood feel.

SOTD - Acqua Di Parma Intensa Oud

Just finish watching a review on youtube... it is like Tom ford oud wood mix with Acqua di Parma colonia

Finally i can get the leather in it.. it is abit buttery in ADP Oud...

I am just finding any reason and any day just to wear it... the performance once again is off the chart for an EDC concerntree...

SOTD - Parfum d'Empire Cuir Ottoman

1 dab on each of my hand...

My first impression:      this is Dior Homme Intense with added soft suede leather touch... totally has nothing to do with Turkish Janissary and their sweaty leather boots...

Cuir Ottoman opening abit harsh due to the leather note, then slowly benzoin, amber, vanilla, incense all started to appear the leather become softer and stay for the whole duration...

Those who like MIP or Bvlgari Black may find this an upgrade... beautiful blend from underrated niche house...

Bro Astroboy, or any other sifus... whats are your take on Amen Pure Leather? Is it similar with Amen so sweet? hows the leather in it? im thinking to try this

SOTD - Opus VI by Amouage (Tester)



Finally, I got my hands on this one after two months of waiting. I had my supplier to keep an eye and reserve for me when it becomes available. Fell in love with this one at first sniff at KLIA on Oct 2013. This is the only one from Opus Library collection that I like (haven't tried vii). Reminds me a bit of Ambre Russe by Parfum d'Empire with the slight boozy opening but then quickly fades away. It's a smokey incense amber oud scent, though oud is not listed in there. The incense is of Middle Eastern vibe and not the churchy one like in LDDM by Tauer Perfumes. This one starts to get some attentions from the Youtube fragcomm lately.
