QUOTE(fariz @ Apr 25 2006, 04:03 PM) there's a link in the page for higher-res screenshots it's not the resolution of the pictures im talking about http://www.sega.com/e3/2006/images/ss_virtuatennis3.zip it's the character models and whatnot.. i dont mind if the audience are low polygonal models, but the players's models should be better.... imo, from those screenies, their not that good....yet.. |

The screenshot are said to be taken from the arcade version, running on a Lindbergh platform.

it would make an awesome game on the DS,imo...
imagine, top screen showing the whole court, you and your opponent, bottom view showing your player's FPV!!! then when the ball comes near, move with the dpad, hit the ball with the touchscreen!! that would be awesome... |

^ wow, that would re-invent loads of things.
I'm happy if they have just made the game, make sure it's smooth, and has all the moves available(refering to holding up for hard shots, and down for slices and dropshots). But I'm more looking forward to the "Single-Cart" play, where 3 other players can download the game temporily to have a doubles match-up Why I said this? Because Top Spin 2 for DS sucks, it's lagging, can't even time the shot properly, ball hard to see. This post has been edited by sihumchai: Apr 25 2006, 08:08 PM |

Considering this game came out when PS3 was having its problems, the 360 might have been better.
It really depends though. Did they create the 360 version then port over or did they make one specifically for the PS3? Generally so far, the ports from 360 to PS3 have not been impressive. |
