This happened in the US nearly 40 years ago. A college kid majoring in law was ticketed for parking in a no parking zone. The judge then asked him, "What do you plead? Guilty or Not Guilty", to which the kid replied "Insanity your honour!". Suprised, the judge asked him why did he plead that. "I was insane to park there when i don't have enough money to pay the fine". The judge laughed and let him off with a warning
