i finally pull the trigger to get this Q10 pro from nicety. i must say this is a HUGE upgrade from my Minix X8H especially on media playback. this box is just fantastic after go through so many hustle with nicety on setting up to play my media files from NAS. the PQ and Audio from this box is very very very good. i am one of the happy user here. i think i need to upgrade my TV and AVR to fully utilise the potential of the box

initially having problems with playing media files. me and nicety still rectifying and try to confirm whats the issues. suspecting it have to do with wrapper.

not going to upgrade to 4k tv and avr so soon. wife will kill me

yes agreed with u play directly in himedia player is faster and easier. losing out the nice display of the movie poster

yes im ex minix user (which i still use it - move to bedroom), and playback with kodi need the wrapper. but the wrapper indeed is giving many problems. the issues that i face is
1. i play with kodi using wrapper - himedia player. it will run fine. but after using wrapper in kodi, when u wanna watch with the native player directly no more sound. need to on off the player. then everything back to normal.
2. when using wrapper, and play media from pendrive, u cant quit. it will keep running and running and running and running. unless u press to home. and quit the whole apps.
3. im watching through my NAS server which also took me quite some time to setup with the help of nicety. he is so patience and help and guide me one by one. haha
4. im figuring out how to connect to LAN to my pc shared folder now. have the same issues when i want to connect to my NAS previously.

if we download the subtitle file and load it to play with our downloaded movies should not have the risk?

I’m still on 203 firmware. I can’t update via ota is it? Coz I click check update and it says I’m on latest firmware.
Need manual upgrade to 204 first only then upgrade to 208?

any of u encounter lag issue with the mele f10 air mouse?

when u press the air mouse button and the cursor come out. then u move the remote and the cursor is not moving. after a while it start moving. its like not following to ur movement. and sometime u need to press the air mouse button again and it will move and stop and move and stop. dunno how to explain. LOL

just wondering if you guys using wifi or lan cable for the Q10pro?
i personnally find it using wifi speed is much more faster and smoother compare to lan cable. is it my cable problem? or anything wrong?

does anyone of u experience this:
everytime u play a movies that u download (in this case i play from my NAS), when i click the movie file and press enter to play, it will jump out and go to dolphin browser automatically. then i need to exit the dolphin browser and go back to media again and click the file second time again. Only then, the movie will be played.

anyone experience this? i find it quite frustrating
it only happen recently and i dont know why
previously i never encounter this

did u guys encounter astro on the go apps sound and video does not sync? dunno how to explain it. was watch badminton live on sports channel and the hitting sound and video is not tally. same goes for watch hk drama. some channel still ok. try restart box and reinstall apps still same

Just to check anyone still able to run Astro go on their q10? Mine can’t. It says update require. And AppStore didn’t show anything and stated not compatible with your device anymore
