Hey there, I'm planning to purchase a Q5, as I have a bunch of 4TB 2.5" USB external disks (GPT). I know Q10 supports GPT disk for the internal mount, but I have found no mention about externals.
My blu-ray player can't read these GPT external disk unless I reinitialize to MBR (and lose 1.8 TB), so I need to be sure that Q5/Q10 will read them before purchasing.
Thanks!

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jul 23 2019, 11:00 AM) by "external", do u mean plug into USB port? sure it will work, it works with all boxes... but a matter of capacity limit for the specific box. Q5pro is not easily available anymore, not as popular; Q10pro probably still available. scanty details but i read there is a Q100 coming.... waiting for info from nicety... Thanks! Yep, using USB port. I have 2 x 4TB and 1 x 2 TB USB external 2.5", so not gonna use the internal 3.5" hence me thinking of saving a few bucks with Q5. I thought the thread owner is selling both Q5 and Q10. Oh boy. But, Q100? Cool. When will it be out?

QUOTE(nicety @ Jul 24 2019, 09:32 PM) Sorry bro, we have stop Q5 Pro as many customers complain 8GB of internal flash is not enough to install number of apps. The GPT or MBR partition refer to direct SATA interface, the external HDD is not applicable here as well as you external HDD using NTFS file system. Basically you no longer need your Blu-ray player once you have the Himedia player. Thanks for the reply bro. No way I'm getting rid of the blu-ray player, that's my main source lol. I still prefer blu-ray discs.
