then i will flash r26 1st then maybe test2,

if r26 itself is good then no nid to try test 2 whistling.gif
*
actually there is some report that test 2 and test 5 is similar... ppl going for test 2 because test 5 still exist DATA DROP... but for now, they already clarify that GSM maguro wont have data drop issue even is test 1,2,3,4,5... so we concern about batt and speed... as for test 5... i not yet try.. but test 2 enuf to satisfy me.. and im happy that they have the HYPER cpu governor to play with... get boring with ondemand and interactive XD

actually the reason we have gnex because we want to flush it like a gila rite?? just have fun...

friendly note:

1.) those who from ak... plz flush old wifi restoration
2.) wipe your cache and dalvik cache to avoid funny issue poping out.

i always changed rom one after another if the rom customization not to my taste.. haha.. and i need a good kernel to pair with my rom.

orca still my best rom. but their new update not to my like.
now liquidsmooth.
*
can give some example of "customization" u mean... how copme i feel like MOST of the rom is quite similar? PIE, dpi change, nav ring, status bar.... almost every rom have.. just that maybe slim got the slim theme.. or the vanir have the vanir inverted.... other i think almost same???

maybe anything i miss out??

The HDD space and RAM needed is a big issue for me. Normally only get around 10GB free in Drive C (for windows) and <15GB in Drive D (all my files)

CPU Power too. 4 years old mobile processor. Apa boleh buat?

laugh.gif

However, getting a rig of that spec now isn't too expensive (except the HDD part)
*
even HDD now is cheap....

I think I'm finally getting married to AOKP (MR1) and Fancy Kernel R28 and Nova Prime.

I just managed to surprise my wife who is using Windows Phone lol.

By the way I stumbled upon this:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=40961

and magically increased the free ram from 200mb to 260mb (in my case)
*
TQ... and now i can surely it is not placebo effect.. i feel much faster : )

Another thing is ... im not sure why the good ol' vanir rom use 128m for the heapgrowthlimit
