I ordered mine about a week ago. Dell just email me today saying that it should arrive latest by 17th which is this Friday.

Ordered the Red cover with Ubuntu. Don't really fancy Windows 8 and I have an original W7P on hand.

Will probably get a 120GB SSD and 8GB RAM next week and do some self-upgrade. smile.gif

so this laptop is really upgradable for SSD is it?
i am also planning to save bucks and keep the cost minimum so that i can upgrade it later
win8 seems like not mature enough for daily usage smile.gif
how long is the delivery? 2 weeks?
which set u bought? core i5?
*
Yup, the i5 as it has the Ubuntu OS option (which I don't really need).

I was told by a forumer that it is able to take SSD. I'm still holding the purchase until I get the ultrabook and have a look at the standard hard drive.

I ordered and paid on the 7th. Dell emailed me yesterday that it should arrive latest on 17th. Quite long if you ask me.

Well, if you look at their website, you can see their estimated delivery times. It says 7 to 10days.

Unboxed but yet to power on. Met my expectation so far. It's really light.

Just a tip for users who are using the i5 base and planning to downgrade to W7P 32-bit, Dell does not provide driver for the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230.

The driver provided by Dell on the support site is for Realtek and it won't install on W7P. It should be Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230.

You can download the driver directly from Intel here.

Been scratching my head after installing W7P and all Dell provided drivers but driver for 'Network Controller' is still missing.

HTH.

Looking at the diagram, you unclip the front then push forward?

I also watched a YouTube video online and it shows that you have to use some plastic prying tool to pry the sides in order to open.
