So can we change the network card in the 5470? i'm planning to buy one 5470 from lazada, anyone brought from lazada before? Can't resist the price offer there, Rm1999 only for 4th i5 2.7Ghz,500GB,32GB SSD,4GB,Nvidia GT740M-2GB D3,14" Touch LED,Win 8.1 OS
Or did the newer 5480 model have no more issue for the wifi signal?

QUOTE(cursebreaker @ Mar 24 2015, 10:48 PM) just got my laptop back today. they replaced mine with 6235 which is an older model. the wifi is slightly better but still can see difference when you turn on bluetooth with 2.4Ghz... What's the Download and upload speed compare with previous before change?

QUOTE(cursebreaker @ Mar 25 2015, 10:47 AM) speed is the same. i would say more stable but still has problems. Using 5Ghz Bandwith on 10Mbps Unifi : 1) With Bluetooth on = internet still fairly stable (download speed = 5 - 7Mbps) 2) With Bluetooth off = internet stable (download speed = 10 - 14Mbps) Using 2.4Ghz Bandwith on 10Mbps Unifi : 1) With Bluetooth on = internet not so stable anymore with occasional timeout and high ping time (download speed = 5 - 7Mbps. sometimes error because timeout halfway) 2) With Bluetooth off = internet stable(download speed = 10 - 14Mbps) How about the speed with others device? faster then this? QUOTE(cursebreaker @ Mar 25 2015, 03:25 PM) no, the max speed with any device is around 10 - 13Mbps. The problem is unstable and frequent time out when bluetooth is turned on. speed also reduced Ok noted. By the way did the newer version 5480 will face the same weak wifi issue? Anyone using 5480? If same then i will just stick back to the 5470
