Samsung got one model using double water chamber... one to trap dust, another to filter the outgoing air (I think got HEPA filter too). So, double the goodness of Rainbow? brows.gif

Actually, water itself is not so good at trapping dust, becos dust/hair/dirt are not water soluble...

I have the rainbow wan in my house also. I advice you dont buy better. Even though last until now like 6-7 years but the parts have to repair a few times. Like the roller underneath after few years get brittle. So maybe not worth the price tag.

Think twice before u buy Dyson.....Especially DC24......

My family own a Dyson DC24, nearly RM2k....Bough at Seng Heng in March 2013.
March 2014, it got problem.....(Less than one year actually)

Send it to Seng Heng, it cost about RM 355 to repair....
My god~~ It got 5 years "GUARANTEE"!! Why we need to pay!?

They told us the cleaner head damage, and this is not include in "GUARANTEE" item, Dyson not guarantee whole part for vacuum......It state down the detail in the "user manual".

Went there twice to argue.....and my family agree to pay, coz put a RM 2K vacuum away is too waste....

Now the vacuum back to work, and we hear the story...Family all very not happy about this. Especially Dyson web site and Seng Heng sales both told us 5 years guarantee!! We put Seng Heng and Dyson to black list and share this to all our friends and family around....

Then I start to wonder....is this because of Seng Heng after sales service or really Dyson problem?? I wrote an Email to Dyson Malaysia.

They call me in the same day and ask for detail information, this is good.
After I provide detail info, purchase invoice, repair bill.....Guess what? They claim this is an accidental damage, it is not in the term and condition, and the T&C state in the manual....Let's it.....

We are not rich people, choose Dyson because of the performance and quality, this is the Dyson and all user feedback in forum. The family really take care of it, never fall down, About one time a week use......I believe any one of you will do the same, cos its really costly!!

Then.....I will post this to forum, and thinking of bring the case to Dyson UK, maybe consumer court....

To share this case to all friends in Lowyat. Think twice before you go for Dyson, especially the 5 years warrant!

While I surf Internet for Dyson UK Email, I found some other complain of Dyson :
