wyyew, refering to ur last remark.if this troubles u; no website means no company u should say to them after the 1st or even before the interview that u r not interested.this time of pass tag thing is nothing to shout about....they might not have enough to go around and take time to order...if u r doing sales then there is a prob since u r in and out in the office all the time.but if u r in IT, admin etc. stay in the office you shouldnt worry much about it....

yeah i will certainly reconsider........one thing i learn from industrial training.i went there to expect to learn something from my superviser instead we were teaching him everything on graphic design....i got frustrated while i was there as they were defintely slave driving us......meeting after work, cut pay if we go for coll lecturer meeting which is compulsary.come to work on sat even if there is nothing to do.fake to customers telling them we are full time staff and lastly using free software expecting to create tv3 ad.because of that they complain to our lecturers saying our work is not up to standard......N IT company not having legal IT software...ghesh...but if u think about it..industrial training doesnt have to be place to learn from but learn from it...

ahahhha wyyew it sounds like a new company...there are good and bad side of it...my industrial training, we had to do their manual, power points, website etc. for them.good side: u can learn a lot since many things are not done yet so have to start from scratch. and the bad side: since its new ; sometimes documentation and work flow is not proper yet....and they need u more than ever to do lots of work since its new(hard to apply annual leave)

ltw82...yes true! in terms on business doesnt make sense..but the company i was working in was web e commerce thing...dont tell me they cant invest in 1 since they are in the business legally speaking also? very bad too....later we use the freeware they except our work to be something we can do in photoshop and illustrator.the worst thing happened was that our lecturers believed them and we had to sit another round of learning the same subject.we then showed our work to them and demand a talk with the lecturers.then only they found out they had been misusing us...

i was from coll it was twinning prog with uni.....
everytime lecturer come visit our work place the ppl will say we are busy.when we are not....in fact the right thing they should do it demand at least once see our work place and when we are working...as u said business ppl cannot be trusted...yup most of them are sly....we have a black book which we jot down our work and after the training we have to write report about the experince...after the whole class complained and the report the lecturers stopped sending students there even tho that industrial training place ask for more.....
