Guys, I'm looking at the possibility of getting a Note 2 (also considering S4 but leaning towards Note 2 as of now).

May I check whether that all new phone now will come with 4.1.2 or 4.1.1? Is there still a need to worry about the eMMC bug or SDS?

Anyone noticed the sound vibrating strongly through the back cover during music or gaming session? The volume is not even turn up all the way. Feel that it's quite distracting and a bit uncomfortable to hold during these times.

My cover to thick to feel it. But last time i use ori flip cover never felt anything like this also.

Maybe some with super thin cover like alexng2208 can help on this matter.

I'm using a normal silicone cover but I tested it with and without the silicone cover. You definitely can feel the sound vibrating through the back cover especially near the speaker when you place your fingers on the back.

I'm using a thick casing, so I don't feel anything but could it be that the back cover is not snapped fully in place? It can happen that due to a gap between the cover and the chassis, air vibration causes the sensation you are experiencing?
*
I double checked and the back cover is snapped tightly. Yea, it's the sound vibrating through the back. The louder the volume the stronger the vibration. Kinda like when you play loud heavy bass music and your speakers will vibrate as well.

I tested it even with the default ringtone of "Over the horizon". You can't feel it if the volume level is below 30% but once you set the volume above that it gets very noticeable especially around 60%-100%. You must hold the phone in the horizontal direction like when you're holding a game pad, that's where your fingers will lie naturally on the back cover (not holding the phone at the side with one hand).

alexng2208 you're probably best suited to test this due to your svelte casing. Others who use the phone naked can also help btfan here.

Anyone? It doesn't even take 5 seconds to remove your casing to test it out.

No kidding. I got around 6++ hours screen on time on average before the battery drops below 10%. I think that's pretty good or could it be better? Heh
