For UAG orders , I got a collection letter from Pos Malaysia . Will go over Monday to collect . I'm quite sure it's UAG cuz who on earth send parcel thru Post Malaysia anymore .

Kernel just flash like that,doest need to wipe cache and dalvik, just click Install(in the recovery)and flash it

Pretty decent actually. I dropped my phone from jeans pocket height on a wooden floor without casing, no dents on the phone nor cracks on the screen. 

Guys , UAG arrived but not with me . The parcel was sent to my billing address , my home In Pg . Mum just called me n kinda nag y send so big parcel back home n she have 2 carry down to KL .. She'll bring it down when she comes down this week , think Thurs or Fri .

Frankly i dont know.  it has always amaze me when someone reports such an issue (and there always is). For me aosp rom is not really suitable for Samsung due to its close source.  For all i know it could be an issue with the wifi driver of aosp kernel, or your modem or even indicate some hardware issue with your phone.  Best is you try a different kernel and do more trial and error.  Also make sure the is no app that is interfering with your wifi.

Flash back to stock rom n assess again
Is probably kernel issue or hardware problem
Apps such as dsbs or wifi optimization in settings  will not affect.

To be honest, AOSP rom for note 2 is not optimize due to lack of sources. Many have reported stock rom have better battery life than AOSP.
