Note (pun) that all the non-TW ROMs will lose the S-note etc TW stuff, and you CANNOT restore it. If you really love S-note, I suggest get off it and use something like HandyNote which is usable across all Androids, with Evernote/Dropbox sync and restore.

The CWM backup creates a complete image of your ROM, so if you restore it, you will get your phone back to the status where you backed it up. Titanium Backup is used to backup individual apps and data, which you can use to restore across new ROMs.

Which CWM are you using? Advice you to ONLY use Philz CWM or TWRP. And yes you can backup to External SD.

What is your Note model? Most here have the N7100 (3G) whereas N7105 is the LTE model.

I have no idea about this coz I'm not an A/V guy, so saturated or not does not bother me very much.

I believe noobi3 or alexng2208 or even antt00 are more attuned to this factor.

EDIT: I believe you are using Perseus kernel.

The perseus kernel thread on XDA has a nice writeup on color gamut and etc etc which you may check on to determine if it can help.

Unfortunately, Perseus does not have support for AOSP roms

Oh yes. There are 3 types of kernel. TW based, AOSP based, and Hybrid. Choose the correct one.

Perhaps you can find STweaks or Trickster mod and tweak some mDNIE settings.

Look for Devil kernel on xda. It support n7105 and aosp and it have mdnie tuning like perseus.
