Does your box have the blue Samsung sticker, and the square E-warranty sticker in front?

Did you call Samsung?

What's in the sales package (applies only to SME sets)
A sealed box with the blue Samsung sticker and an e-Warranty sticker.
The serial number and IMEI stickers are at the side.
In the box you will find the phone, battery, a WHITE 3-pin charger rated at 2A, a WHITE micro-usb cable, a pair of WHITE headphones and a short manual which also describes e-warranty.

NOTE: If you are getting an AP set, the charger will have the pin configuration of the region it came from (eg 2 round pins for Europe sets)
NOTE: If you get a set with a BLACK charger and BLACK cable, you may not be getting a Note II and it is likely a knockoff.

Not exactly, most KIRF-S3s came with iPhone-look-alike chargers, not sure for Note 2 thou...

A forumer here reminds me of ANOTHER Note 2 user that I know in real life.

So I got a phone call from this acquaintance of mine, so this she asked me how do I turn off the phone (Note 2)

So I replied "you see the button on the right, where you wake up your phone, press and hold it"

The next thing she asked was "THEN?"

Sometimes, when people ask you a very very dumb question, i'll always ponder, why did the person ask, was he or she testing my intelligence or trolling or just plain stupid

That's the epic part. She thinks that people good with tech could probably 'help' her with candy crush. Haiz...really face palm  doh.gif

That's the curse of people working in IT. The field is so broad but people tend to lump us all together. It also indicates that people actually don't know anything about computing but are given so much computing power yet they don't know better uses for it.

Like that article I put in post 4 by Alan Kay.  doh.gif

Most people whos IT literacy is low tend to expect the us the people who at least bothered to google up and learn it to know everything. From TVs, washing machines, PCs, Macs, iDevices, android devices, DSLRs, cars and many more.

They seems to generalise IT pros as "good in every nook and cranny", I'm not an IT wizard, just im bothered to Google it up and find the solution.

Thou, on the bright side:

1) I'm better than my male friends
2) I sound like a pro, even though I have no idea what's going on until I googled.

I have that all the time, I'm geeker than the guys in my office. doh.gif
So, I'm expected to solve all kinds of PC issues, I told them I'm not good, I got the solution from Google. sweat.gif
Yet, they said it is still better than them. I'm speechless. sweat.gif

Wah people these days are so lucky got guide. Last time i have to "dissect" the zip files myself and study it. Though to be fair its not difficult.
Yes i agree. I am not an IT wiz, never studied IT or any programming nor am i in this field. But googling and reading and exploring and trial & error makes me more capable thus I dun have to rely on other. I would say we are not expert but more independent.

I guess not being reliant on someone makes us a better person. nod.gif
