I checked on the thread last night. The dev didn't overly promote it, but made a valid point, by asking in the forum, why, out of 3.4k downloads, there were only 16 entries? In fact seriously, the "mod-all-you-want" feature is getting it a lot of points. I downloaded it but haven't flashed yet.

I suspect that option 1 is using older cert files? Perhaps some changes in Meta-INF information.

Link 2 seems the most simple.

BTW I tried making a flashable zip with Titanium. It did create one, but it includes the Titanium.apk by default. Don't know if it will work if I remove the Titanium.apk. Anyone care to try the zip if I post here?

UPDATE:
Poked around in the zip and read the updater-script. Looks like I can't simply delete a packaged APK coz it contains lines for the Titanium.apk as well.

EDIT: I believe you are using Perseus kernel.

The perseus kernel thread on XDA has a nice writeup on color gamut and etc etc which you may check on to determine if it can help.

Oh yes. There are 3 types of kernel. TW based, AOSP based, and Hybrid. Choose the correct one.

Perhaps you can find STweaks or Trickster mod and tweak some mDNIE settings.

Someone in the S4 thread speculated this will likely be the S600 version, so you won't get any love for the custom hardware I think.

Titanium backup is local unless you enable cloud sync. SMSbackup+ does incremental every minute or whatever other interval you choose.
