After 1 week+ of usage, it have been great. Still got a bit slowdown near midnight (for streaming but not download), but other then that I've been downloading at full speed.

I guess I can live with it pretty happily with the price (and the RM 200 rebate )
Not forking out extra RM 100 per month for the same speed is a huge relief for me.

Now I can get 10 extra kfc dinner plate per month 

they say their CS is only few ppl only that why slow respond email

i direct go to their branch pay rm730 for 10 month

so 10 month i no need go their branch pay.

customer service is non existent

just installed abn, but still no internet yet, also the dhcp lease time were set too short, might likely need to increase the lease time to maintain your network connectivity

i dunno whether their 30mb and 50mb package is valid, the technology used were docsis2.0 with maximum bandwidth of 38mbps (this is year 2001 technology), maybe they offer docsis3.0 modem for such user with high bandwidth user

my connectivity state is still "Access Denied"  , the best thing about cable modem were there is no PPP setting, virtual circuit number to be set, ease work for the technician and end user. Even the cable tv service didnt ask for password or needing card for authentication

reserve ip address via DHCP server didnt work for me. (update:work after few try attempt adding the mac address)

Can, but your may need to change network range, many wireless AP that was used were using network range 192.168.1.0 and it is used by ABN internal network

As for me, range is not a problem, but wireless congestion as many AP using the same channel, it getting worse since alot people using HSBB. if your device support channel 12, 13, please use it as it not congested much, other than that, use channel 1,6, 11

it even worse than dynamic IP, natted overload IP address, means alot of users sharing the same IP
I guess those are coaxial amplifier, or fiber to coaxial converter

ok guys just came back from registration. guy will come on sat to do installation. will update my experience before, during, and after the install.
BTW, the staff told me if i cancel within 10 days they will not charge me rm500. Guess I have 10 days to try out everything from download to streaming,
and the staff also said the cable they provide is only 40 meters?!
does can someone please confirm if the modem they give have Ethernet port? my PC no wifi reciever leh. I connect using Ethernet

i dont, i take abn because i dont have any other alternative, unifi and maxis home port full, other alternative were mobile internet, and abn is far better that those mobile internet service, at least can vroom vroom during non-peak time.

peak time are usually around 9pm-12am, i can live with that. just hope that abn can spend more on their infra to support more users
