I went to their office this afternoon to make another report, just half an hour ago a senior which has a very lansi attitude came along with another guy. very unfriendly, both of them. the senior guy, took out his laptop, run a test. The problem happens right in front of his eyes and then he resets my modem. after resetting he again runs a test and tells me everything is alright (from the test in his laptop). Now comes the funny part.
he ask me when does this usually happen. I told him each time when I switch on my modem. Then he ask me, "kenapa u tutup modem?". I feel like facepalm! I replied "I tak guna internet so I tutup". Its common sense, when no one is using internet sure will switch it off. And then he told me, no need to off, because each time when I on, the modem needs to get a new IP address from the hub". I asked him, if that is the case, then why for 2 months I have been using and its not like this, just 2 weeks ago only it happen. He said "sebab sekarang banyak orang dah guna" (I think what he says is something like congestion).
then he ask me to monitor until 6pm, if anything call him back (now its 5pm, only 1 hour to monitor wth!) He said after 6pm "saya takkan jawap, lepas malam ni, kalau takda masalah I tutup kes. Kalau besok ada problem, u call customer service"
he left that's it! What I know now is "tak payah tutup modem"

I dunno I need to left the modem on for how long. OMG I really want to terminate this ABN
means their server cannot cope with growing user base, not being able assign IP promptly, so don't turn off modem after connecting?
