Lucky u. U know whats funny, just few weeks ago my friend ask me about abn, i told him eberything is fine n go ahead and subscribe. Then now i kena problem. Worst, the technician who came yesterday says he dunno what is the problem. Said will ask his boss, but until now no reply. 
Sometimes they will give excuses if they cant find the problem, like mine, he said its normal if the modem get 2 times lock, i told him if its normal then why previously i get 1 time and then never disconnect?
And then he also said, usually ppl never off their modems, im like wth, so my solution is to forever leave my modems on? And how can nobody ever off their modem, sure when not in use will off everything de ma, right?

Thanks for the information, will provide them this info to the technician if they come to my home. Today connection is still the same. I'll go to their office later ask them to check again. This will be the the 3rd report and hopefully they can fix it.

I can't stand the wifi undetected issue. Its happening quite frequent, one moment my device can detect WiFi, the next it can't. I thought of using my old streamyx router as WiFi router, I just need to connect the enternet cable from Motorola modem to my tm router, right? Then do I need to flash any firmware to the tm router? Since its tm configuration.

make backup for the rom and install tomato or dd-wrt, work just fine with my fakap abn connection

change to the new router as you cannot fix anything caused by hardware limitation. Just buy any router that is unifi ready. Change to third party firmware in order to have more control (vpn and wireless output power)

No, at the time I posted the message (1.30pm). That's usually the kind of speed I get during the day (i.e. office hours). 8-10Mbps down and 2Mbps up is typical across Asia. Slightly lesser to Europe and US (usually between 5 and 7Mbps).

Here's a few more quick tests, done just now (~9.30am):







As you can see, the results are very good this morning. I can't ask for more. Usually, it's a bit slower by 1-2Mbps, but still very acceptable. Evening peak is another story though as the speed can drop by half, but personally I don't use my internet much in the evening and it's enough to browse the web anyway. Fits my needs.

Hey ,guess what? They upgraded their bandwidth to 2000Mbps for v4 and v6 connection ,each.(some improvement )Maybe they read the rants in from subscribers in this forum.

ur right. i tried the one even with a lot of seeders. I can get 3kB/s only as we speak. shit!! this sucks so bad. we should try again tomorrow morning. maybe tonight connection is just bad. :/

then 10mbps is literally useless, other than downloading, what 10mbps is good for. plus its not just torrent they throttling, even youtube is slow. better live with 1mbps la like that
