Haih, I just got a parking summon just now. Parked at BJ Complex, Pg at 1 of those dark alleys. Came back 20min later n found the sumomn on my windshield.

Now prob is tat tis summon has my car particulars (plat no, color, car model, where i parked n wat time d summon was written) except d road tax number. As far as i know, only a summon with both ur plate no. and road tax no. is considered as a valid summon.

Any1 can verify this? Thanks in advance.

is your roadtax visible at that time ?

Technically speaking my roadtax no. can b consired dis-colored due to d daily 'sun-bathing' but still can b seen if u look properly. But then again, i noticed many roadtax have d same prob within 3mth after having it freshly printed.

But if u mean if i displayed it on d windscren like its suppose to be - yes, its open for everyones to c.

Some places you have to buy the ticket from the machine when parking cars.

Fyi, next time just leave at least one of those ticket on your dashboard, even if it is outdated months already.

Without a ticket, They saman you bout RM100, or somewhere near that range.
With a ticket, even if it is invalid or expired de, they summon you RM30.

Last time my friend kena a saman from MPAJ.

Everything is right except the car model and the parking slot number, it was written wrongly as Iswara(he was driving Wira) and the number of parking space is wrong.

Then he ignore the saman until MPAJ send some letter asking him to attend a court, he then go to MPAJ saying that his car is not Iswara. They cancel the summon.

Wouldn't have to risk paying any summon if you'd paid the parking fees right? It'll get even worse if your car gets clamped and in the process your car obtain some dents or scratches.

I don't understand why people just wouldn't pay their parking fees. Even if it's only for a short while, you did occupy the parking slot and you should pay for it.

I didnt park at any designated parking lots. Instead I parked along 1 of those alleys without parking lots nor yellow lines. For ur additional info, it was around 9pm when d summons was issued.

i never know, if i got summon i just go and paid ~

Issued by MPPP or PDRM?
If MPPP, literally speaking, until you get a warning letter from them, you can ignore.
If PDRM, literally speaking, you can omit to pay for 2-3 years, until the police show up in front of your door with a warrant of arrest.

need help, tumpang thread here. juznow got a "notification of traffic offence" paper stuck at windscreen of my car, coz i park at yellow line. the yellow line not valy visible. many cars there, but why me ho?

anyway, its from the "polis diraja malaysia". it say i commited the 1st offence listed, which is "parking in contravention of a traffic sign".

do i need to pay? pay how much? coz juznow i go to police station, the lady say "sana! sana! buka 2 nanti!".
