Just as the topic, i need a tripod that is bang for bucks, firm enough to hold my canon 550D, and for travelling purpose. Budget, erm, i have no idea about it but i hope i can get one below RM150. However, i am really interested to know roughly the starting price of a good tripod and which tripod is highly recommended and famous in malaysia (eg. just like the nexus 7 in tablet)

>good tripod
>most recommended >famous brand >rm150 Anyways, you can try out the Jusino ones. Another option to go for is Manfrotto. Manfrotto is usually heavier. You may opt for Benro tripods as well. Mines the A550EX tripod. Super solid tripod. |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ May 9 2013, 01:01 PM) Erm, for other alternatives can consider WeiFeng or Beike. Hmmm, yeap, around there, but they are decent rnough for shots like this right?I saw there's tripod selling in GS around your budget ![]() What i am really afraid is, when i adjust my 550D up until it moves to sone side and get imbalance, the whole tripod cannot support and it falls. |

QUOTE(em0kia @ May 9 2013, 12:39 PM) Not really, but my tripod is around RM450 lah. The Jusinos arent that expensive. Benros are generally more expensive but super steady. Try holding one. I only bought this because I held my sifu's. Fuuh! One time and Im so super poisoned. Next week got it already. |

QUOTE(em0kia @ May 9 2013, 01:07 PM) Hmmm, yeap, around there, but they are decent rnough for shots like this right? Easy. Just get a tripod that can go very low by having the legs extend outwards even more. Some tripods even have removable middle column so that your camera get as low as possible ![]() What i am really afraid is, when i adjust my 550D up until it moves to sone side and get imbalance, the whole tripod cannot support and it falls. ![]() The one I'm using is this: http://www.gstrapinuse.com/index.php?main_...27cd896edfa1760 A little heavy but very solid, mine still going strong after 1 year+ though there are some rusty screws due to one trip to the beach. |

for traveling you need compact and lighter tripod..for stability you can hang your bag to the tripod..to hold your camera nicely you need good head..you can look for used manfrotto..good resale value also..but the head alone cost rm200+. my advice if you think you gonna need tripod for a long time save for better tripod or sooner later you need a better one. if you can find old school wooden tripod that would last very long time
