you can discuss about this matter with ur potential employer... but i do heard their remuneration is good... yumyum

- Basic allowance

Those are standard in remuneration package.

Depends... if you are contract staff under Maxis HR, you will get most of the benefits as much as what those permanent positions have which including Performance Bonus, Phone Allowances, Medical cover etc., but no contractual bonus for sure.
But if you are offerred contract position which not under Maxis HR, you will not enjoy Maxis employee benefits. Your benefits will very much depends on the 3rd party company you attached to, but i believe you would enjoy a slight lower phone allowance and less attractive medical expenses reimbursement.

no.. i heard maxis usually dun take permanent staff. rite jane98209? they usually take by contract and you have to renew it every 6 mth or something like that. i have a friend working at maxis for quite some time (2 years or more) and she is still under contract. dont remember her position

Yes... start with contract position, so if you can perform well, they 'might consider' convert you as a permanent staff.
Well... this is the trend of the current market... lots of contract position especially IT industry.

the most attractive one is mobile phone charges can call kau kau...haha

I have a friend who is a contract staff and he says that they do not get much benefits from being a contract staff but their basic pay is slightly higher.

It depends on which company and whut it says in the contract. Is your friend working for Maxis?

the salary for maxis is slightly lower than market price.
I am still keep in consider whether want to work in the maxis

If contract with be with getronics well pay is not that high but if you are looking for experince and this to learn this will be the best place as I was in there before the reason we left cos the low pay but I learn alot there and I hope you will too I was with them for 2 years and is a good training i had

i got 1 fren work in maxis, contract 1 year..hp can call up to RM350, dental and medical claims, and also spectacles claims...does this consider benefit?

MAXIS contract staff for 1 year and above (Not 3rd party contract),

Benefit : RM350 phone call allowance (Unlimited to GPRS, 3G, Voice call)
Physical Phone allowance RM500 (renew every two year)
Dental card, Every year got free travel voucher (2005 = RM1500)and phone voucher (2005 = RM500), Traveling = RM0.60 per KM, General stanby at home got allowance RM200, entitle for performance bonus only.

NO medical card, No ESOS (Employee share option scheme), No contratual bonus

consider very resonable package for young fresh grad. 15% additional on top of ur basic salary to compensate ur contract staff status, fair and squre..

i'm a successful candidate employed by maxis via jobstreet, so is true that they really filter though jobstreet. But now there is alot of outsource going on in telco industry and is hard to get employed by operator it-self...

Sometimes Maxis gives travel voucher (based on the company performance) to the staff (including contract staff). The value of the voucher will depends on the you porition. Staff also get somthing 'Flexi Benefits'. This is where the spectacle claims fall into.

i work there is as vendor, from what i heard their benefit is not like 5-10 years ago. but u still get RM500 allowance to take anything in maxis center if im not mistaken like contract easy phone, tv or ps4 basically anything at the maxis center.

500 is just an ok amount for discounts though you can't get a full set

It's RM 500/ month. More than enough for most things

Bet can't carry forward that monthly allowances, or people just wait for year end to cash it out.

cash out ? i don't see my friend doing that. mostly max out with fiber and phone with multiple sub line to parents or family members.
