Hi Guys,

Anyone knows how to disable the Traction Control by default in Polo TSI?

I have to disable it every time I turn on the engine.

P/S: the button is on the dashboard just above the radio

DIY Shark Fin Antenna on my Polo TSI biggrin.gif

RM45 only...

Its an antenna, there is a wire that you will have to screw in to the current antenna slot.

Easy installation...

No it is not a dummy.. rclxm9.gif

P/S: Radio reception feels clearer compare to stock antenna...

The icon appears every time I press the brake and stays on till I turn off the engine.

Any recommendation where to get them change?

My Polo TSI broke down twice last month.. It happen in the morning when I started the engine. The car was vibrating and the EPC, traction control and engine light came on. I tried to drive but car the power is total lost. I drove slowly to VW Sg Besi. Left the car there for 1 day and they fixed it the next day. According to them, the problem was the injector inside the engine.

After 2 weeks the same problem came back again and this time while i was driving. People around me thinking why this car going damn slow suddenly. Go up hill, maximum speed 30km only.

Next day sent the car in again to Sg Besi. After a week that was after CNY, went there to check what is going on as they never answer my calls. The SA said the car is being checked by a German engineer.

Next day the SA told me he will provide me a courtesy car in the same day. I went there and he explained that the ECU is faulty. Then he said the local engineers dunno what they are actually doing.. He said the ECU part got no stock but will arrive on that week end.

Up to now, my car still in Sg Besi and they haven't provided any update. (1 Week)

P/S: They gave me a new Passat as a courtesy car biggrin.gif

I believe the turn over is very high so vgm see no point in sending them to Germany for training/courses

I was able to achieve 125mph on my Polo TSi. No modification done.

After conversion is about 200kmh.

Best done on straight road on 6th gear using shift tronic.

Anyone know what issue is this, when on D gear and you press throttle when overtaking up hill, the car jerks. Speed is around 80-90kmh

I tried on shift tronic by dropping the gear manually but there is still jerk.

Anyone had similar experience?

Appreciate your advise

Based on what I understand is commonly VW DSG have a little bit of jerk and is normal. For your case, how serious is the car jerks? I suggest you sent your car to the SC for checkup...

Very hard jerks and you wont feel safe when you feel it...

Mostly happens on 5th gear

It like you want to sudden accelerate then it jerks jerks in the process.. Never had this past 3 years..

Guys if your car is covered by Windscreen insurance, then stone hit your windscreen and gets a star crack, will they (VW) replace new windscreen?

Does VW Sg.Besi do windscreen replacements?

I change before at Glenmarie but that wan the crack was half the length of the full windscreen.
