Our casting director will help you to snap some professional pictures & video to create casting Com Card (Composite Card) and casting video to be presented to our clients for them to choose from. Once our clients shortlist you, our booker will SMS or call you about the job details, e.g. payment, role, casting/shooting location, dates and etc.

Question 1. Is profile casting a waste of your time?
Answer 1. If our agency database does not have your professional photos & video to create Com Cards, we can’t propose your profile to our clients to choose you for any jobs.

Question 2. You don’t have the superstar look so will you get any job at all?
Answer 2. Every advertisement jobs have different needs for different talents/models. It is open to every different kind of looks, age, size and colours. It’s really depends on what the clients are looking for. However, one thing every one of our clients wanted - talents with full confidence in themselves.

Question 3. You have a friend who has the profile we are looking for, can you recommend or send his/her photo for our consideration?
Answer 3. Yes you may send his/her photos for our consideration. However your friend will still have to come in personally, for us to take professional photos & video for the Com Card.

Question 4. You came for profile casting before so why you still have not got any jobs yet?
Answer 4. We actively propose every talent/model to our clients based on their requirements. Our clients will study and shortlist/select from our proposed database (Com Cards). Our client’s decision is final. However we will continue to propose all talents who have a profile that falls within our clients’ requirements for upcoming jobs. Stay tuned.

Question 5. We at GARY STAR TALENT AGENCY help you to take professional photos and video to create Com Card, all for FREE. How do we make money?
Answer 5. As we constantly meet with clients to source/propose for upcoming jobs, we earn professional agency fees from the jobs we secure for you.

Question 6. You have attended our profile casting several months ago, should you come again?
Answer 6. Yes, please come in to our studio to take new photos & video after every 4-6 months from your last profile casting session. Our clients only want to see the most recent look of our talents.

Question 7. Your profile is already in our database, so do you need to apply to every job we post on the web?
Answer 7. No, you don’t need to apply again. We will continue to propose your profile to our clients based on their requirements for upcoming jobs. However you should come and take new photos & video after every 4-6 months from your last profile casting session with us.

Question 8. What do you need to do before coming for the profile casting session?
Answer 8. Please practice your natural friendly smile.

Question 9. What do you need to do during the profile casting session?
Answer 9. You need to introduce yourself (name, height and hobby) in English. We will take photos and record a video of your facial expressions (happy, sad, angry and surprise). Please practice these expressions before you come.

Question 10. You have sent in your photos to us, do you still need to come for the profile casting session?
Answer 10. Yes, every talent must personally attend our profile casting session.
Question 11. You have attended our profile casting session, now what?
Answer 11. We will actively send your profile pictures and video to our clients based on their requirements. Once our clients have shortlisted you for a job, we will SMS or email or call to update you the status. If we have not contacted you, that means your profile is not successful for this job. There’s always another job coming up. We regret that only shortlisted talents will be notified.
