my monitor is a benq g900w and i've been using it for 5 years now. i just bought a new rig last month and it worked fine until yesterday. it keeps restarting itself (just the monitor). i tried connecting it to my laptop and it works fine. and ive connected my rig to a tv and the tv doesnt have the same problem. is it cable problem or do i need to buy a new monitor? sad.gif

If it works fine with your other device then it may be the problem with your GPU.

Had you tried the SAFEMODE on your rig with the monitor attached?

Perhaps it's PC problem? Maybe try with other monitor or try connect your TV to your PC if it has DVI or HDMI or VGA.

Yup most probably GPU if total blank. Do you have any other PC to test with?

If the GPU is an addonn and there is an onboard, please take out the addonn, switch settings to onboard and try it out.

Sorry for the late reply guys Internet down for a few days.. The monitor is switching on and off on its own, even when the rig is off.. The same thing happens when I tried to connect it with a laptop. I plugged a TV to my rig using hdmi (the monitor used vga) but the TV runs fine.. It becomes fine after each restart b but the problems keep coming every t30 minutes or so... My resolution is fine and my gpu is o icon_question.gif k.. So does the psu.. But driver cd for the monitor lost already.. Is that the problem ?

Then that's the LCD monitor problem (ie. became faulty and/or failing). Is it still under warranty? hmm.gif

Last try before you change your monitor, maybe cable or its connector problem, borrow another video cable and try it out.
