Hello everyone.

I need some recommendation for a pair of noise cancellation headphones. I did a hearing test at a clinic and to make a long story short, my doctor said my results show some abnormalities in the high frequencies. She said it's a common finding for people in my generation due to our exposure to loud noise. Although I can still function normally (ie I am far from needing hearing aids), she recommends that I stop using in-ear earphones and use over-the-ears headphones instead, even better with noise cancelling feature. She recommends Bose QuietComfort 15 (she uses a pair herself), but unfortunately for me, those are way above my budget. So I am looking for something cheaper.

If there is no active noise cancelling headphones that is within my budget (I understand that the tech is expensive), i can make do with closed back/sealed headphones. And don't worry, whatever you recommend, I will do my research and check with my doctor first before buying.

My devices: acer aspire laptop, transcend mp3 player, xiaomi & sony smartphones, iPad 3
Type of usage: primarily music, podcasts, movies.
File format used in your source: mp3
Genre of music you listen to: pop (ellie golding is pop, right??)
Headphone/ earphone type: closed, circumaural, Noise cancelling
Other requirement: comfort
Budget: Rm650
Note: it'd be useful if you can tell me where to purchase the headphones. I am based in Kuantan but I go to Klang Valley about once every 2 months. I am ok with buying online. since the headphones are expensive, I would rather buy from a reliable source.

Thank you in advance.
