Hi guys advice needed here
http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_o...rt_15/index.jsp

Or

http://v-moda.com/crossfade-m-100/

Personally I preferred the V-Moda but I already had a DJ headphone though I'm not sure whether BOSE worth it or not.
*
Get the BOSE for sure if you need the noise cancelling. If noise cancelling is not much of a priority, and in terms of sound alone, the M100 trumps the QC15 in almost every area. Yes, tested both models extensively prior. Hope it helps.

XP3! I had hippo pearl and the sound is no match for XP3

Seconded, I would shun away from everything and anything Hippo. Cheap no doubt but the quality matches the price. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.
Go for the XP3.

I came across this and thought I'd share it here. It's super cheap and a good deal for beginners looking for a (almost) complete set up.

Hope I'm posting this at the right section.

I'm looking to buy a corded earphone to plug into my android phone (Galaxy SL, soon to be Xperia Z1 Compact) when I jog. I put my phone in the sports arm band.

Currently eyeing Sony Active Series MDR-AS200. Any1 here using it? Any reviews on it? or should I top up a little and get the MDR-AS400EX/D?

Looking for a sweatproof earphone.

Thanks Ill take a look at that. Need amp or additional soundcard to make full use of it?
*
If you just wanna get can-do-lah sound. Then its okay. But if you wanna push it abit further then you can get an external amp, this can be bought later on if funds are a problem at the current moment. Also, your files that you are playing is also important too. If you're just going to be listening to downloaded MP3's then just get the headphone and forget the DAC/amp.

They ship to Malaysia. Also, you can customose the plates and engrave your own plate design. Kind of cool Got their customized M80 awhile back before. Haha.

Thanks most if not all the goodies at KL none in JB unless I go Singapore. Not sure where to look either .

I will reply your question form the Alienware thread here. I chose the overkill UPS shipping. USD 141 if I am not mistaken.

And I would not buy it from the sellers that are selling them too cheap, I think E1 sells the M100 and he is reliable, and its better still if you can make it down to Singapore, you can look out for them in Stores like Stereo, and E1. They are both located at the Central Orchard Road location.

Edit:

Do note that if you dont purchase them online, it doesnt come with an extra pair of shields and also you can't customise the shields and have your own design on them, which is also free. Here is what my customised M80 looks like. (:

Help me guys, which do you prefer the audio technica m50x or the Senheiser Momentum on ear. Since the price range is the same. Or any product that is good for its money. I'm buying it just for listening to music, movie and some video gaming.
*
Momentum for me. The momentum, not the in ear. The on ear is too bassy for me

Just reading this post, I on,y know that you like your PortaPros, so based in that u would say go buy another PortaPro. But then it's not comfortable. So you need to get something else. E1 has audio technicas? alright thanks. Would you recommend anything else for monitoring  use?

Monitoring as in real monitoring in front of a mixer?
M50 would be cool. Or the Shure SRH940.
And yes. E1 carries them both.

Oh sorry. I thought it's enough tongue.gif

Your rig: Smartphone, desktop and Sony mp3 NWZ-B152F
What type of usage: movies, music.
-File format used in your source: mostly mp3,sometimes flac
- Genre of music you listen to: RnB, jazz, pop (kpop mainly), fast dumdumdum dance, clubbing songs, ballad, instrumental (kenny g)
- Headphone/ earphone type: no preference, nice looking i hope.
- Other requirements: can use for long hours,
- Budget: 200 max.

When i bought my Portapro, i compared it with ath fc707. Look gorgeous but felt something missing with the sound. Hehe

You can try having a look at the Dunu series. They're quite good for their price. I use to own it. And they're very affordable.

- Your rig: Mostly phone (motorola moto G)
- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc): Mostly pop music/movie
- File format used in your source: mp3/mp4
- Genre of music you listen to: mostly pop
- Headphone/ earphone type: clip-ons? earbuds (not those in-ear kinds tho?)
- Other requirements: I use mostly before I go to sleep, so something that I can use comfortably when lying down on bed tongue.gif Sound quality can be secondary, as long as it's decent =)
- Budget: <RM100 (can stretch budget if worth it)

I was using Koss KSC75 but the cable doesn't seem durable, changed twice sad.gif Have problems with the connections etc so I'm looking for a replacement now

Can consider Noontec Zoro wireless, to be used with bluetooth device. With nice outlook and sound quality not bad.
Can try Noontec Zoro HD. with enhancement on bass, suitable for strong beats and groovy music. Good build quality and nice outlooking, also it comes with mic.

*
Yes I would be agree that this headset has a nice outlooking. Seems latest design trend.
