Get the BOSE for sure if you need the noise cancelling. If noise cancelling is not much of a priority, and in terms of sound alone, the M100 trumps the QC15 in almost every area. Yes, tested both models extensively prior. Hope it helps.

Also, your files that you are playing is also important too. If you're just going to be listening to downloaded MP3's then just get the headphone and forget the DAC/amp.

Might wanna give us more info then you liking your PortaPros. And what's your budget if we do recommend you something else. Just reading this post, I on,y know that you like your PortaPros, so based in that u would say go buy another PortaPro. But then it's not comfortable. So you need to get something else.
