For RM250 all rounder, i think you can try out CKS55 and Klipsch Image S4, they are well known for their outstanding audio performance!
JVC FX1X or FX101!  rclxm9.gif

Currently looking at soundmagic e10. Good buy? or go for JVC?

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, sound card etc)
Ipod Classic, Samsung Galaxy S3 (for skype) , my desktop

- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc)
movies, gaming, music, everything i supposed? o.o

- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc)
mp3 only.

- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc)
classics, jazz, blues, drum and bass, pop, techno

- Headphone/ earphone type (closed, open, circumaural, IEM etc)
any, as long as it suits my preference. but i still prefer a headphone cause i already got a earphone.(monoprice whistling.gif sweat.gif )

- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc)
mic is optional, but it would be better if there is.

Budget: rm200 +/- don't wanna spend too much, but if it is worth topping up, i would.

ATH-TAD300 cover more into detail than ATH-T400 but it lacks of noise isolation and bass response.

which do you think is a better buy? both aren't that popular, hard to find review yawn.gif. what about senheisers or superlux? ATH T400 looks like it's gonna clamp my head to death

sennheiser IMO only HD5xx and above is worth the consideration, superlux is okay, but the clamping force can smash your head
*
