Need recommendations on IEM,budget is considerably around RM300

Rig:HTC One,Sansa Clip Zip
Usage:travelling,working out,jogging
File format:MP3,FLAC,M4A
Musical genres: Mostly pop,a lil bit of punk rock, and some RnB too
Other preferences:
-Clarity over bass
-Travelling pouch included

In consideration: Sony XBA-S65, Beyer Dynamic XP3, Sennheiser CX-680 @ CX-685 and Audio Technica CKP300.

Please also recommend me other models within the budget if there's any. Thanks in advance.  notworthy.gif  icon_question.gif  rclxms.gif

you want clarity in that price range it kinda hard TBH.
Go for the XP-3 since it's the best one i heard so far when compared to the rest of the ones within your consideration, but if you're willing to stretch your budget the SE215 would be my most recommended choice.
also if you're using exclusively for working out then go for the CKP200, it's much better at holding itself on your ear then the 300 and it sounds almost similar

Hi guys,,, got something in my mind. How about I am starting with sony nwz-f805 and shure se 215 as starting point. Is it worth?
*
Do you have a smartphone?, better off with one then buying a totally new player, especially from sony but if you still want a player then by all means go for the sony or the sansa clip
the SE215 is a VERY good starter, i can say that honestly because i myself started off with it and i'm still using it till now
if you want a better sounding but less durable starter you can go and try out the Hippo Pro one or the Phonak Audio 022

Big post here!
QUOTE(nabzblitz @ Sep 6 2013, 09:29 PM)
Guys need advice for a gaming headset! Help!

- Your rig: Desktop
- Budget: <RM300
- What type of usage: Skype video calling and gaming specifically. Will not be using for music or movies at all.
- Headphone/ earphone type: Over ear (Supra aural i think?)
- Other requirements: Mic quality is of top importance. I wanna make sure my voice sounds clear, no static at all, etc.

I'm considering Logitech G230, G430, and Razer Carcharias.
Actually not sure if it's relevant to post this here since I'm actually interested particularly in mic quality so if anyone can point me to a more relevant section that would be great!
*
Go for the Beyerdynamic MMX1 its 250+ and the mic is made by beyer so it's top notch
if you want cheap then Logitech's are quite good for the price

Hi guys, need an IEM recommendation. Prefer the all-round type coz I will use it most of the time to do everything!

AND also including a microphone (I do tons of calls from laptop/phones).

Budget is somewhere around 300-400RM.
*
Audio Technica CKM500i, its actually below your budget, pretty balanced sound but don't go expecting much out of it
Klipsch S4i, not really recommended because IMO they sound awful for the price, bassy and muddy as heck but they have a mic and the Klipsch name and you could possibly like the sound
SE215 with Mic Upgrade cable, Pricey but worth every penny, Most people say they are bassy but IMO they are actually quite balanced
IEM MICROPHONES DO NOT WORK WITH LAPTOPS BECAUSE OF DIFFERENT JACKS, the IEM will work but the mic will not

Hi guys, need some recommendation on buying a budget headphones.

- Your rig = Desktop
- What type of usage =  Primary for gaming with skype n Music ''BASS''
- Budget = RM160-RM200
- Headphone/earphone type = Closed ear

The CM STORM CERES 400 are on my list. Does it do the job for me?. Any other brand that are close to my budget?.. Read a review on the CM STORM CERES 400 and people say is a bargain buy. Other recommendation would be great.
*
Go for the Superlux headphones or the Logitech G Series
IMO the only Computer peripheral company that actually makes good headphones is Logitech but if you wanna get the Ceres then better go and try first

I want to get some really good headphones.
- Your rig = Mobile Phone
- What type of usage = Music. Rock. Good Bass and Mids
- Budget = Open. Preferably not over 900RM
- Headphone/earphone type = Preferably On-Ear. Over-ear okay but not too big.
Thanks
*
Try out the Grados and the Alessandros but they are open back cans so you need to listen to them in a quiet environment but other than they have the best bang for the ringgit!

Budget = RM200 - willing to stretch slightly more for something more expensive.

Your rig = PC, Samsung S3
What type of usage = Music mostly, with some movies and a bit of gaming. I usually use it to study in loud/quiet places, so something that's noise-cancelling without acting like a speaker (Causing noise pollution? not really sure about the term).
- File format used in your source = Mainly mp3s.
- Genre of music you listen to = All kinds.
- Headphone/ earphone type = Circumaural.
- Other requirements = Something that I can easily wear around that's not too fragile.

At the same time, I'd like to ask about a 2nd pair:
Rig = S3
Usage = Pure music, for running/working out.
- All genres.
- Earphones/headphones are both fine, so long they're secure and don't fall out.

(If there's a headphone that can fill both the requirements of the first + 2nd, I'd love that, but I'm not sure if that's realistic.)
*
1st set can recommend you the superlux headphones not sure which to recommend since all of em are pretty good for your usage
second set you can go and try out the Audio technica sports series, which one you'll have to go try for yourself since they have all kinds of fits to see which one fits you the best
