My current Phonak 132 is starting to show some issues. Might need to get a new one soon.

Your rig: iPhone 4s, iMac through ordnance .25 amp
What type of usage : Music
File format used in your source: mp3, flac
Genre of music you listen to: Rock/ Pop/ Ambient/ OST
Headphone/ earphone type: Something with similar or better clarity, accuracy and smoothness then the Phonak 132 with better bass. The Phonak 132 are really enjoyable and I'm not a basshead, but they really isn't any bass on them unless amped.
Other requirements: Remote/mic would be good. A 2 years warranty or more would be good.

Budget : Around Rm1000

^Thanks for the recommendation guys.
Will try each of them out and see whichever sounds the best to me.
Will also consider the slightly more expensive top of the lines IEM as well.
Just going to avoid the phonak 232, the company no longer does this so the warranty is no longer valid...

Everything is about mix and match. Without knowing what kind DAC and amp that you are having, is hard to recommend also.
*
DAC/AMP I use is
Ordnance .25 with the source from an iMac/laptop or xDuoo TA-02 Tube amp
But that's what I use. I'm not getting it for myself.

I can't really recall their amp/source brand/model they use hmmm.
But let's say it's through the Ordnance.25 amp/DAC, which headphone around Rm1K would you recommend ?

Looking for hardy earphones for voice recording monitoring

- Rig, portable recorders like Zoom H4n and Tascam DR40
- File format, Wav or sometimes directly into a field monitor
- Flat and accurate response
- IEM, headphones are bulkier and less noise isolation than IEM I feel... not to mention higher impedance.
- Other requirements
: extremely good seal and noise isolation. Must be able to differentiate between sounds from the recorder and ambient noise not picked up by the microphone.
: Little microphonics. Using this to pick up any distortion/extra noise from the recorder.... having extra noise just by wearing it will be counterintuitive.
- Budget, RM 400 and below. This is meant for rugged use.... so something that can take a beating and not cause a heartache when broken will be good.

Currently using Ajays 1 for this, but the seal isn't very good and it suffers from bad microphonics

I was thinking something along the lines of Etymotic HF5 but it's slightly above budget.
