I just take my plunge with HD600. Highly praised... And combo with Aune T1. I really can't wait they come to my door step.

Had hd650 and now using q701. I prefer hd650 for music because it is very lively. For movie and gaming I prefer q701 because I want to listen to the dialogue and footsteps.

Any recommendation on headphones for me to pair it up with my Xonar STX?

Currently using the DR150 and the MDR-1R, I did read some reviewers says to tried out some of the higher impedance headphone to really bring out the STX true potential, but I don't really know if that's true.

If possible, I would like to keep it 400 and below, but I could stretch a bit if the option is the best choice

Requirements : Comfort (I do wear glasses) , I do prefer the sound signature to be neutral, with a bit of emphasis on lower bass, and smooth highs. Wide or expansive soundstage.

Lol edited, I mean the 10r, not 1r  , is the MDR-1R has significant difference with the M40x? or if even lower one the M30x, because both of them seems very good.
But reviews online for the M40x is completely neutral sounding doesn't really emphasis on the lower ends, unless I'm wrong about that 

yea I have to agree that gaming headsets does compromise audio quality a little too much

its the noober version of g430. g430 comes with 5.1 (dolby? i'm not so sure) and the g410 does not.

You mean the Xonar STX is not capable of handling high impedance headphone? dt770 might be out of my league due to its price, but I will consider the M50x. Between the M50x and the AD900X, which is better for home listening? Sound, comfort, and durability
