Tired of using my Apple EarPods. Had previously owned Sennheisser CX-200 and a-JAYS Four. (Both cable problem)

Currently eye-ing on SHURE SE215 for ~RM300. I prefer earphones as most of the time I'm listening to music when I'm out. What would you guys buy, given a budget of RM500?

Budget - RM300-500.  How big is the difference in quality between RM300-500 to RM1k++ earphones? And stock Samsung earphone to RM300-500 one? Noticeable by normal user?

Hmm that mean there are no mean for me to get another upgrade. i like warm and bass sounding. I tested HD 800 in Singapore with their full ifi range(including itube) definitely tone down the brightness. and its more comfortable with tubes. I tested Benyerdynamic Flagship, T1, i tell u i straight throw away.. lol even with tubes amp

My hands are itchy to get some new gear but actually im unsure whether i should buy a new dac and amp (fiio e18 or beyerdynamic a200p, fiio e18 is out i guess because it cannot be stacked with my phone because xperia micro usb output is on the side )

otherwise, im looking for a pair of preferably headphones (close and over ear) or earphones for classical music ONLY

this is because i found that ue900 mid is veiled and has an echo effect which is nice for vocals but not for instruments like piano, every note is like played with sustain pedal stepped on all the time

Hey guys need some advice to what headphones to get.
I'm using this mostly for music and movies/tv shows.
I'm staying in US now so I have access to most brands.
Currently I'm just using some noise cancelling earphones but sound quality so-so only. (bose qc20i)
My preference is decent sound quality,looks good and portable.
Budget is around $300-400 USD.
Here are my options so far

-b&o h6
-sennheiser momentum

if you guys can suggest anything better or cheaper, please go ahead.

Tested the DT231, yup....bass isn't that strong.

However I tested the XP series and find the XP2 is best among other XP series.
XP2 rocks!

and need to ask you this bro wallabies, im thinking to get the hippo mook amp to pair with my colorfly c3 and my upcoming astrotec ax35. do you think its worth the investment ? or should i save up more and buy higher end amp. more iem is coming btw so its not only the ax35 it will be pairing in to. (some of it will definitely be the heaven II and gr07 )

Newbie here. My experience with the best headphone I ever owned is the wireless stereo headset for ps3 and that's all. Never tried anything that's better. The problem is that headset faux leather crack and shred miserably within just a few months.

I want the IEM to last at least for the next 3 to 4 years and hence the big budget (hoping the earbud will not shred like the headset). Is my budget overkill for my basic use? I'm considering seriously on Audio Technica IM02. Is RM800 sufficient for this model? Is there any other worthy or better competitor model to look out for?

Last question, is there a thing that can add a mic to the IEM without sacrificing the audio quality? How do you use IEM that doesn't come with mic to answer calls?  

Notes taken, thanks. To be honest, I have no idea about the actual value of output impedance of laptops and smartphones. This info is not available on the internet.

Without a doubt, IM 02 for the money I'm paying is definitely a good buy and it's actually not that much money in the world of audiophiles. Considering this is the first ever IEM I ever bought in my life, I think starting with IM 02 is the right decision. Hope this is a good investment and last for at least next 3 years. 

Generally it's damping responsible for the frequency response of a particular IEM, especially for BA-based + multi drivers IEM. In order to overcome in a basis without too much of unwanted response or distortion, better keep the impedance at a better lower level, for IEM it's still better to stick to a source which has below 1 ohm output impedance. 

How about Beyerdynamic XP1 ?
