QUOTE(NoiZy @ Nov 26 2013, 06:16 PM) Guys, I saw a Parrot Zik, is it recommend or seriously overrated, have been reading numerous reviews, all have mixed feelings and I'm getting more confused. Many people in the audio world would bash you for saying you love the sound of beats lolMy case: Live in a rented room with 2 more friends, so prefer wireless stuff. Commute via public transport daily, so wireless is much better. Noise Cancelling is a bonus. I like the design but dislike the price and soft pouch. I'm not really an avid audiophile, but would love something of good quality and comfy, if I say I want something to last long, I will just be slapping myself, nothing is built to last anymore, its just how we care for it right Anyways, my friend ask me to try beats (dre), almost bought it, love the sound and all, its comfy and looks cool. But then again, I would prefer a brand that not many people knows, so they might laugh me off as buying pasar malam stuff. Hehehe given their quality, i'd say their real worth is probably RM200. If you love bass you can try UE9000 or V-Moda M100. Unfortunately only the UE9000 has a wireless model. |

Hehehe Now comes the dread part, need to read up on below stuff, will find one of these weeks to go hunting/testing. Gonna get it before 2014, last but not least, does price differs a lot from SG to Malaysia, as I can get it from either place, warranty is not an issue, just the pricing UE9000 UE4500 Parrot Zik Griffin woodtones SOL republic Audio-Technica ATH-S700BT Jaben GoldRing-NS1500 You could also check out Sony MDR-1R (they have a bluetooth version) Beyerdynamic custom 1 pro (looks bulky but there is adjustable bass) If overpowering bass and noise cancellation is not that important, Sennheiser Momentum and KEF M500 are excellent. |

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Nov 27 2013, 08:46 PM) Everyone has their own preferences. I've seen some who prefers the HD700 over HD800. QUOTE(decavalera @ Nov 27 2013, 09:09 PM) DHL... Then after arrive KL, my address is not covered by them... so they use normal Pos Malaysia for delivery.. Which part of Msia is your address from?No tax... Amazon might already know how to declare for Boleh Land customer i guess... lol Made a mistake last time when i ordered directly from Jaybird's website... the Jaybird JF3 was only around $99 then, after add shipping plus tax (which i think i got conned) i ended paying over RM500... Lemme know your impression of the bluebuds when you've tried it, i'm sure it sounds great since the JF3 i had was the best in-ear bluetooth i've ever heard |

QUOTE(decavalera @ Nov 28 2013, 09:16 PM) I've been hunting for this bluebuds x for few weeks bro... If you bought direct from Jaybird USA.. total including tax & everything will be around that figure RM660... was interested in using hopshopgo until i found out they use DHL services...Even nearest online seller sells around RM550 including shipping but not sure whether can escape tax or not... Tried for the 2nd lowest bro...My delivery cost was RM58.89... i know they are reliable and fast, but with DHL it's usually 100% tax unavoidable unless you are located in some isolated area where they have to depend on normal pos malaysia to complete the shipping =P |

if i'm not mistaken Amazon already calculate and include the custom tax upon checking out?
That's what happened to me when i tried to compare shipping to Msia and to Aus... Msia extra 50EURO under the custom tax breakdown while Aus is 0 =P |

QUOTE(+3kk! @ Dec 2 2013, 09:56 AM) JH Roxxane is like 7k, pre order and no one heard of it before. No idea where you got that insane pricing. But you are very wrong.. even at preorder its around rn5200 and with BF sales it's only around rm4200..im still considering the IEM thing coz these days i have no use apart from travelling to distant lands alone. and i make such trips like few times a year only There are people who has heard it before and initial impressions of it too if you googled hard enough.. QUOTE(+3kk! @ Dec 2 2013, 10:14 AM) to my knowledge only jaben carries it here and their estimate price is already 6.3 and that is before anything. so i mark up a bit to estimate for doctors cost. Ear impression is only rm100 at clarisound the last I checked. You can find their branches around. if you know wherelse i can get it, its much appreciated You can order directly through JHAudio website. Follow their instructions for the 20% promo code. The last day for this sales is today I think, so you don't have much time left. Applies to their other models like JH13 and 16 too. |

QUOTE(+3kk! @ Dec 2 2013, 10:29 AM) anything interesting? Not that I know of. Btw Jaben are also doing the 20% JH sales. You can contact them for more details.im very particular about my senn love, lol ive tried like the competitors of my IE8, not entirely impressed if that can be done then it would be great, i will look into it coz i had the impression that JH nominated jaben as a distributor and they would reject all orders as i know most of the times its like that. |

QUOTE(godofwar13 @ Dec 4 2013, 07:20 AM) No, i mean HD700. Its on sale if you order from the US/Canada. Not really rm1800, with today's rate it would be rm2100+. If you include shipping and tax total would be around rm2600 Dang! so it means i shouldve gotten that then? i got the DT1350 for rm650 instead. things are always much cheaper overseas well, anyways, cant really imagine any headphones costing 1000 being worth it XD |

QUOTE(elainor @ Dec 9 2013, 11:17 PM) Hey guys, im sorry cause i didnt make myself clear by using the template in the first page Those you mentioned are closed, not open- Your rig :mp3 players (mostly iphone) - What type of usage (movies and music ) - File format used in your source (mp3) - Genre of music you listen to (rap, hip hop, house music) - Headphone/ earphone type (open) Budget wise Rm1500 +- For now there are 3 models in my list which is Bowers and Wilkins P7, Beoplay H6 and Sennheiser Momentum or any other brand that fits my budget and requirements. Hopefully you guys can shed some light for me. Cheers! The Momentums are great, but they won't excel in the genre you mention though. Haven't tested the other 2, so won't be able to comment on those. |
