ATH-CKS55X should be really good for edm and house as well (around 200rm in malaysia, mic version for 150rm, normal for 120rm  from cdjapan - you do have to pay for delivery though   ). I've used ATH-CKS77X which I got for around 210rm from cdjapan. Not sure where to get it from in Malaysia, but even if you did find it here, would be a bit more expensive.

Usage: listening to songs inside LRT, watching movie on laptop

Other requirements: adequate sound isolation as i use it in the LRT often, preferably with built in mic and audio controls compatible with android.

I'm currently using Philips SHE8000, cost RM70 when I bought it 2 years ago and boy this earphones is durable, I've use it violently for 2 years, even accidentally put them in a washing machine once.

I searched for M30X review and seems like the M30X got decent bass. Did you mean the older ATH-M30 ?

For a bassy headphone under 300, for music I would prefer ATH Pro5Mk2. But if it is more for gaming, I'd go for the kraken pro since it has a mic and the sound fits better for gaming, but quite bad for music. Not the worst though.

This sort of requirement really a PITA to satisfy. Pop and rock doesnt get along well.
