3rd class means? BTW, why momentum on ear are way cheaper than the old one... The discount just about RM200. There are few promotion that steal my heart but I decided not to fall. biggrin.gif
*
The older momentum is around the ear, its different than on the ear. The new on the ear is smaller and uses a different ear pads and tunning is abit different. The older is bigger and the ear pads are made from lambskin leather.
But the around the ear is is more like a hybrid since the ear pads are quite small to cover the whole ear =.=

Might consider the BD XP3,because based on what i've read that the built is quite durable.Have already seen the Shure SE215,the cable looks so fragile, maybe not suitable for outdoor usage shakehead.gif
what't the price for this one?can you provide me a link of anyone selling this? hmm.gif
*
fragile? feels okay to me... you could also try Hippo ProOne and XBA-1

What colour do you pick up? Just make sure not to always change the ear tips, as the nozzle might brake later on.
Should be "Welcome to Head-Fi, Sorry about your wallet!".  rclxms.gif
*
yep, but i still prefer 'say bye to your money' feels like the words flow more smoothly than 'sorry about your wallet' tongue.gif

Lol. Yea the nozzles are so thin and long!
Was abit worried when i was removing the stupid foam tips.
I'd be more worried about the nozzle than the cable, looks very fragile to me..

RM300 can get some really decent ear phone... From the BA driver SE215, ProOne[around RM100 more =P), to the woodies  Thinksound ts01, and Klipsch Reference S4, Image S4 II, Audio Technica CKS55, or some Final Audio Design ones... There are no such thing as the best earphone, best the one that you like the most/suits you the most...
*
Actually se215 is dynamic driver smile.gif

- Your rig > HTC One(mainly), iPad, Windows Laptop
- What type of usage > Music
- File format used in your source > flac, mp3, wav
- Genre of music you listen to > Alternative rock (e.g. Alter Bridge, 30 Seconds to Mars, Creed,......) , Hard rock (e.g. Guns & Roses....), instrumentals (e.g. John Petrucci, Neil Zaza,....) and maybe a bit of house, trance, pop, and jazz..
- Headphone/earphone type > IEM
- Other requirements > Microphone (optional but preferred), volume control. I'm looking for IEM that can make the instruments in a song sound clear and definite especially in guitar instrumentals and solos. I'm buying it in Australia.
- Budget > Max RM450
*
Great taste! The bands you named are some of my fav too smile.gif
Don't limit to yourself to Australia, you can buy online as well for more options.
You could try HiFiman RE400, Vsonic GR07 or Hippo ProOne. Unfortunately no Mics in them.

thanks a lot guys.. for being very helpful..
i didnt mention that i want a rm500 quality out of rm50 headphone..
i just ask for a recomendation for the best quality rm50 headphone..
i google up for the best low end headphone but most of it is not available here.. and even if it do it still hard to find it..

just forget it.. there is no use to ask about low end product to the people that only know about high end product..
maybe this tread should change the topic to high end Headphones/ Earphones Recomendation Corner
so that there is no other people like me be in here..
*
RM50 is way below low end for headphones. You probably can get some cheap low quality fake beats headphones for that price. If you want decent ones you should raise your budget to at least rm100-200.
For RM50 you only can get IEMs, and their quality is only decent depending on what you find. I.e. Meelectronics IEMs.

Dear Sifu(s), I'm wondering what are the good quality earbuds in the market today as the norm is IEM.

Your rig: PC, Mobile Phone
What type of usage: Movie, Song
File format used in your source: MP3, WMV
Genre of music you listen to: Electronic, Pop, R&B
Headphone/ earphone type: Earbuds
Other requirements: Travel friendly
Budget : Below RM300, Value for buck (Just name them all =D)

I have seen examples like the Apple Earpods and Sennheiser MX680 but I'm still confused as even some well-known companies do not specify whether their earphones are IEM or earbuds in their official websites such as the Jaybird Bluebuds X (I think they're IEM, correct me if I'm wrong).

Hopefully somebody can help me clear up this cloud of confusion.
*
yep, Jaybird Bluebuds X is IEM
Better quality ones are usually IEM, so if you have no discomfort issues with IEM i'd recommend that instead of earbuds

Already researched Jaybirds Bluebuds X and Plantronics BlackBeat Go 2, but which one really worths to be categorised as a good bluetooth IEM?
*
I'd recommend the Jaybirds, i had their JF3 few years ago.. and for a bluetooth their SQ and fit is excellent. Not to mention the new bluebuds X is very portable and aesthetically pleasing wink.gif

thanks for the reply. whoa ESW9, that's a nice pair of headset. do you own it? i'm a little put off by the price tag of EW9 (139usd) and there aren't many reviews out there to justify the price think most probably i'll be going for SE215. yeah i saw the Koss, it seems real affordable but the design seems a bit on the down side and don fancy the foam that wraps around them
*
You can always try them in Jaben before you decide. There are other models there that you might prefer over the 215

Hi all, I read reviews about Logitech UE900 and feedbacks are quite good for this IEM, not sure if anyone here tried it? And is it really worth the price tag of RM1299? Is there any cheaper alternatives that offer similar sound quality?

Thanks.
*
Have you tried them before? Recommend you to try as many types before you make a decision.

groupon is offering urbeats iem for rm159. may i know wat you guys here think about tis iem? the review it received has been a mixed from fragile to good bass.

im currently using sony xba-1 on my ipod shuffle...hoping to get an upgrade...

lets set the budget to around RM300 and below...
*
Urbeats is anything but an upgrade from XBA-1
And I wouldn't trust groupon or deal websites with earphones since almost all of them are fakes..

That depends on the type of sound signature and songs you prefer.
You can take a look at RE-400 /262 or VSonic.

Yes, one of the best bluetooth IEM.
But you might want to research on the build quality since they had some issues in the past.
