Which earphone with mic is better for my iPad device:

http://www.sony-mea.com/product/mdr-ex110ap
SONY EX110 Price: RM 99.00

Or

http://store.apple.com/my/product/MD827FE/...-remote-and-mic
APPLE original EarPods RM 109.00

Which is better?

So, which one will be the best POSSIBLE, without considering the budget? But of course, I would like the one with best value.

well, i never tried any of those, but definitely the shure se215 (just my opinion)
in the long run the flat cable might be a nuisance since you'll feel it to be heavier than a normal cable.

while reading the reviews, i could say that if you don't like the se215 design (the over ear cable) then you're not going to like wearing it.
but it seems like you can change the cable, and you can choose whether you want a mic or not. +1 for the se215
by that i mean it's a replaceable cable, can't change the design. please don't misunderstand~

correct me i am wrong, but the cable itself costs around rm200, that's half of the price of se215, i might just go for another earphone with mic for rm600 (the price for the se215 and the mic cable)

i tried a-jays one, two, three, and four and se215 when i purchase my first good quality earphones. i chose se215 because it offers much more clarity while the a-jays offer too much bass for my liking. but overall, they are all bassy earphones.

i would give a-jays five a try. the a-jays are light so i guess a-jays five will be light as well.

well, with all the headphones i have, harman kardon cl, sennheiser momentum on ear, logitech ue900, all these have apple certified contoltalk but i use them on xperia z without any problem, except the volume control button of course.

a-jays is currently the only earphones in the market that offers both the main button and volume control button for android, so it's the only choice if you want to control the volume on android.

monster n-ergy (bass shy), monster gratitude (have some nice reviews), soundmagic e10m (value buy and often compared to se215), klipsh s4i mkII and much more. alternatively, you can look into sony xba-1ip or 2ip for balanced armature drivers.

personally i would just go for a-jays 5 for a try because i already own se215 tongue.gif

the sound of the se215 is not professional, it is a "fun" sounding earphones with forward mid and punchy bass

it is still a consumer grade high quality sounding earphones with professional build quality (interchangeable cable, kevlar cable etc.)

professional audio equipment is more like custom made iem but those are overkill for normal consumer like us cool.gif

- Any?
- Any?
- Ear bud. Prefer open, so people call/talk me I can hear some. not completely isolation
- Volume control is a must.
- Must not have sponge because they spoil easily. mad.gif
- Budget, please give me 3 range :
1. What can I get for ~RM100
2. What can I get for ~RM150
3. What can I get for ~RM200

Currenly use Panasonic Earbuds @bought @ RM50-60 many years ago. Quality is good, with bass also, no sponge, can also hear people talking to me while listening music. but I looking for better sound quality ones, can use many years.
