I read something at Headfonia, it's to boost the sale to give way for new coming and better model IINM. But that's a speculation. Hmmm... Maybe one day I will need your help. biggrin.gif So many great deal to pass over there.

TBH, I prefer Momentum for it's classy look. Hehe... But no drastic price reduction. Sigh... Maybe one fine day.

you mean the hd25 aluminium? but as i said, it's different than the amperior because amperior has mic and lower impedance.

well, i will only stay in the uk until august next year so.. you know what to do tongue.gif

i dont like momentum because it is too laid back for me. i have the momentum on ear. everything is great on it except that the mid is too recessed. so, m50 is my current choice for portable use.

I don't know if it's HD 25 alu. I thought HD 25 alu is limited or special edition. Haven't read about that model yet. August still far away. biggrin.gif There will be a lot of coming deal.

The crossfade LP is sub-par. It's better only if you could get the crossfade m80.
If you dont mind the detachable cable + stretching your budget for abit, get the ATH-M50.  cool.gif

bro how about the ATH Pro500Mk2? is it better than the m50's?
besides i found it at rm 390 which is a steal (new unit)

Pro500Mk2 has somewhat bloated bass, doesn't really have the deep bass like the m50. sweat.gif
Also the charity and details are really recessed.. I would suggest you to get m50 if you wanna choose between them wink.gif

Yes, thank you. That will probably be the correct description. I have the over the ear types bose qc 15 and don't like the headbands squishing my head.

Hello. Between VSonic VSD1S / SteelSeries Flux In-Ear / SoundMagic E10 , which one is better for my pick?
For now my concern is the manufacture warranty and build quality . Afaik all three above are only 1 year warranty which seems quite short. Im not sure how fragile is these budget IEM but I do see that quite a number of people has problem with the SoundMagic E10.

I myself a fan of logitech product, i do see the Ultimate Ears by Logitech, the one within my budget is only ue 350vi which comes with 2 years warranty. But I doubt they perform as well as those i listed above.
So experts here please do advice. Or I should stretch my budget to get Beyerdynamic XP series or Nuforce NE-650M ?

Btw,
Mainly use with my laptop and phone in siggy
- What type of usage (Music most of the time)
- File format used in your source (mp3)
- Genre of music you listen to (pop / country / hip-hop/ electronic music

For detail, go for Etymotic ER4pt, or you can go for UE900.

Between your choices, go for VSD1S. but if you're not a fan of sibilance (slight) or balanced sound, you can go for flux. they are much more in the mid-centric area thumbup.gif

You're welcome.
I understand. Mid centric means the earphone emphasize the mid area along the spectrum, in order words, it is good for vocal. (pop, rock and some edm)
Extreme care? I usually dump around my SoundMagic PL50 after a listening session, sometimes they just fall off table. The housing spitted off (common for pl50) then i glued them back. Still working well, since then it has been 3.5 years. laugh.gif
I think most of them are able to last very long compared to commercial consumer earphone. wink.gif
I have not experienced breakdown among my headphones, except the HD688B got heavily modded by me then ended up i just cracked up the plastic housing lol. doh.gif

Guys, seems like no one selling Dunu Trident anymore. Well, I go to audio related sub-forum and search for Dunu Trident and most of the sale thread not active anymore. Can someone tell me where to get this IEM?

And any comparison to Shure SE 215 and Hippo Pro One?

Or how about Dunu Trident vs Shure SE 215 vs Hippo Pro One.

Dunu Trident? It's more for basshead, even thought there's hint of charity. and compared to other two model you have stated.. it is the only one with dynamic driver.
SE215 does have the detail and rich sounding bass response, also warm and sweet vocal. Meanwhile, Hippo Pro one is sort of neutral sounding, with mid centric emphasis. Both of them having diff drivers too.

Not really a bass head TBH. Even HD600 bass sound good IMO. I think will grab SE 215 LTD. I think the bass will be polite than Dunu Trident bass right?

Indeed. the SE215 has accurate bass response, it is not bassy but slightly warm sounding. I would get the ProOne if ain't liking the warm sounding. wink.gif the ProOne also tend to have better charity.
