Dear All, I have some problems encountering my Nintendo Wii over here. Alright... First of all, I'm not a gamer as I never bought a game console before and this is my first one.

Alright... I've a friend who's from the US, so, now he's moving to Switzerland, he thought he wants to clear some stuffs from his home so he could pack lesser thing to Switzerland. So, he gave me practically TWO US Nintendo Wii, the console and the remote. He told me that he bought his Wii from China, which are both China's and US's Wii are the same?

Anyway, I was actually trying to use it with a normal multi-plug adapter that we can get almost from anywhere. Good news is I could see that the beside the power button, the LED light indicator is in RED color. And, it couldn't turn to yellow or green. So, I had gone through some of the threads and notice that some of them could make it works if they bought a step down transformer.

So, can I know, if I buy one of the step down transformer, would I be able to use my Wii? As, I tried many ways and the LED Indicator is still red and I want to use it badly! Hope to hear from you guys soon. icon_question.gif

A stepdown converter isn't so bad in terms of the price. It's less than Rm 30 if you buy it from Jalan Pasar. smile.gif

but it's interesting to note the Wii was bought from China. That I don't think I have much knowledge on.
