QUOTE(noir7559 @ May 15 2013, 11:22 AM)
one question, since BPL doesn't use head-to-head rules in the league

lets say if Arsenal beat Newcastle 2-1 and Chelsea and Everton draw 0-0 on the final day of the season, Arsenal and Chelsea would have identical points, GD, goals scored and goals against.

then what its gonna be? Who'll ended up at 3rd place? Coin toss? Playoff at neutral ground? Fair play rules?
*
QUOTE(aladdin @ May 15 2013, 11:25 AM)
I believe.

1.) GD
2.) Total Goal
3.) head-to-head.
*
QUOTE(nimrod323 @ May 15 2013, 11:33 AM)
The mirror reports that it'll be a decider game at a neutral venue
*
1. Goal Difference
2. Total Goals Scored
3. Play off at a neutral venue

from the BPL's official site below:

QUOTE
If two or more teams are equal on points, the winner is then determined by goal difference and then, if necessary, by the number of goals scored.
Where teams are equal on points, the number of goals scored and goal difference, there will be a play-off to determine the winner.
We do not look at the head-to-head record of individual teams.

Given Arteta is highly likely to be absent on Sunday, same squad with Tommy V as DM kplsthxbye

p/s: I'd have picked Jack as a direct replacement but something clearly didn't look right when he came on. Wouldn't want to risk a half fit player on the pitch no matter who for such a crucial game.

That Wilfried dude does look impressive in that video.

Which reminds me of this certain goalkeeper that looks world class too. We should buy him to replace our shaky Poles.

I dont think so, Psg Real Barca Bayern Anzhi in bidding war to get him.

Wenger wont spend 40 mil for him.

Almunia just the best in keeper in 2013.
*
40 million? Are you sure? I won't even pay 15 million let alone 40.

With all due respect the Dutch league is a shit league.

Looks a pretty strong lad with decent technique and power but you must be insane to value him at 40 million lol

Edit:

Brother he is only valued at 12 million la which IMO is just about right.

Chelsea jump to front of queue to sign striker Bony as West Ham interest cools

Chelsea have reportedly joined West Ham in the pursuit of Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony and are ready to hijack the move.
The £12million-rated player’s agent, Francis Kacou, was at Stamford Bridge on Monday to propose a transfer, according to the Sun.
Also there was Jose Mourinho, Chelsea’s potential next manager, as well as Vitesse owner Merab Jordania, who has links with Roman Abramovich, and Erwin Kasakowski, managing director of the Dutch outfit.

The topic of discussion was the Ivory Coast international, who has scored 26 goals in 24 league games to fire Vitesse into an unlikely title race.
West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan met London-based Kacou earlier that day but chances of a switch to Upton Park cooled after Bony’s wage demands of nearly £80,000 emerged.

Vitesse are resigned to losing the 24-year-old, who has drawn comparison with Didier Drogba, this summer but first hope he will guide them to the Champions League. His current deal, signed in a £4million move from Sparta Prague in January 2011, runs until 2015.
Chelsea have a working relationship with Vitesse and seven Chelsea youngsters have gone there on loan in the past two seasons.
Sportsmail revealed in November how Chelsea sporting director Michael Emenalo had watched Bony at first hand and the player even spoke at the time about his desire to play for the club.

‘If they want me, it would be a great honour,’ he told Czech Republic newspaper Pravo. ‘I would be glad to go to such a club.
‘I love English football and wouldn’t be afraid to play there. Chelsea are a top club.
‘I know that Chelsea and Arnhem are close and some of the Chelsea lads are here on loan, including Tomas (Kalas). I have discussed it with him many times already.’

FFS man we are playing like shit. Misplaced passes, players ball watching. If things don't improve I can see Newcastle nicking one and we are out of the UCL.

Spurs fans were cheering in their game? Some black ops to trick their players into thinking Newcastle lead to psych them up? LOL

i was slightly embarrassed by the celebration too, but remembering that we trumped spurs YET AGAIN in the final stages of the season, i pump my fists to the air

Any team would've celebrated in our position and given our circumstances. Whoever says otherwise is a hypocrite.

The fake celebrations at White Hart Lane when Koscielny scored. What a shock the Spuds players will have when they see Newcastle hadn't scored any at all. They must have thought they had done it when that final whistle went rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

From the Dawson interview

"I heard fans celebrating and Bale scored, I thought we had done it"

Bahahahahaha

Fake celebrations. Definitely a new low for them.

So 18 games Per and Kos have played together in the BPL and we haven't lost. We have won 5 in a row away from home for the first time since the Invincibles era.

Our end of season form has been really encouraging and I feel we are only 1 or 2 quality signings and a little more consistency away from challenging for the title IMO.

I understand if those kind of posts are removed from their thread as I too agree it is wrong but from our own thread? Are you freaking kidding me?

Guess those who reported are kids.

Itchy backside want to come in Arsenal thread then butthurt max level.

If you can't take the heat, don't enter the kitchen. Simple as that.

Ok, those kids in lily whites aside, now back to business.

This year's qualifying could be really tricky IMO.

Worst case scenarios:

PSV
Fenerbahce
Zenit
Schalke
Milan
Real Sociedad/Valencia

QUOTE(JustForFun @ May 20 2013, 11:19 PM)
Keep the celebrations in the thread, it's not good to go to other's thread and disturb fans from other teams, put yourselves in their shoes. This is not England where banters are normally thrown between supporters of different teams who are rivals and they will still enjoy a pint or two at the pub at the end of the day.
*
As mentioned I can't agree more about how low it is to gloat in other's threads but hey even our own thread is being censored now because of some lily white kid(s) who is dumb enough to come into an Arsenal thread knowing all the fun and jokes are gonna get shoved at the direction of his beloved second rate team's direction.

Its all about choices mate.

As mentioned earlier as well. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the bloody kitchen.

The ironic thing is that I'm sure these dumb kid(s) will be doing the same had the roles been reversed.
