Haul (non LEGO)

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Bought 5 of these DAISO "shoeboxes" to store my LEGO @ RM 5/each. Since I'm running out of space,, I was considering breaking down all the LEGO I've built until I get proper display shelves. These boxes however are big enough to fit in completed models and keep them dust free.

Bigger sets may have to be broken down into smaller pieces for storage though.

These are the biggest ones - Shoe Case 1. I saw 2 other sizes, one was a smaller rectangular box and the other was more of a squarish box. Think they're pretty sturdy for RM 5.

I know not suppose to post non-Lego topic here but hope this will help those who are going to vote later...

Pls print your details from: http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/

From there you will know your Saluran number. With that you don't have to queue outside the school, you go straight into the school and join the queue inside in the respective Saluran numbers. The queue outside the school is for those who don't know their saluran numbers. This situation is reported in other polling stations as well, sharing this from Damansara Jaya polling station.

Good luck!😊

Will delete after 5pm. wink.gif

Thanks bro. Heading to Damansara Jaya later!

What if you diversify your interests bro?

Example I wasn't into LEGO before - in fact I'm still collecting other stuff like Hot Toys and miscellaneous toys. But slowly and surely consolidating.

I am trekkie also but i understand their merchandise is centralised. There is a couple of MOCs and custom minifigs around but not much.
hardest part would be the minifigs. imagine try to design seven of nine... brows.gif

Superman

Busy rushing deadlines today and missed out about 5 pages today with everyone going crazy (in a good way!) over the new stocks!

** START OF FIELD REPORT **

Those planning to head down to TRU OU to get Iron Man sets better forget it. They seem to be selling well.

user posted image

As I was leaving, I spotted only 1 (lonely!) Extremis Seaport Battle set placed in one of those Barbie (I think) baskets next to the LEGO area. Placed it back on the shelf to take a photo.

user posted image

Also noticed most of the modulars already sold out (or rearranged elsewhere?). Only saw 2 Townhalls and 2 Tower Bridges. Previous Petshop and Camper Van no where to be seen. Or maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

Oh yes, also lots of S9 and S10 at the counter.

** END OF FIELD REPORT **

Can anyone tell me how TRU points work?

Have enough points to get vouchers - are they physical vouchers and there's a "cooling off" period I.e can only be used with next purchase. Example I redeem today but cannot purchase today?

Or Is it deducted directly from Card Points?

Thanks.

I think the point one can buy on spot.

But it took them 3 weeks to inserted your new points into your account.
*
Thanks. That's the term I was looking for "on the spot" redemption. Brains fried tongue.gif

I know about the points. Found out from their Customer Service via email cos I asked them why I haven't got my points tongue.gif

21 days due to any refund of items purchased. No return items within 21 days then you get your points.

Just got back from Ikano Power Centre. No new Superhero or Lone Ranger sets at TRU IPC yet. Didn't see any Series 9 or 10 minifigures either.

Sam is getting no love. Even Bilbo from Hobbit sets has a red coat.

And there's at least 2 versions of Frodo - the Cooking Corner/Gandalf Arrives version. And the Attack On Weathertop/Shelob Attacks version.

Wonder if there's going to be an alternate version of Sam.

Just got back from 1U - no Iron Man and Lone Ranger sets in sight. Only a few Man Of Steel sets.

Battle Of Smallville Sets x 2
Metropolis Showdown x 2
Black Zero Escape x 1

Some photo spam of something I received today - sorta fits a LEGO minifigure.

New ride for The Dark Knight

Hey bros, that Tumbler isn't made of LEGO. It's actually from the Kaiyodo Sci-Fi Revoltech Series # 043.

Can fit the minifig in but have to take off the legs. doh.gif

Prefer Lego. Can enjoy the building process and then admire it. HT just buy n admire, no fun tongue.gif
So fast Lone Ranger stock habis? I remember they had so many of them on Saturday.

Cool Tumbler! How much is that?  drool.gif
*
Guess the 10% AEON member discount helps move stocks. Shelf was almost empty.

I paid about RM 158 for the Tumbler. Saw some people on eBay selling between RM 180 - 200 now. Not really what I expected - a little bit disappointed. Wheels don't rotate and some QC issues. Some of the flaps are not aligned.

But ok lah - canceled the Hot Toys one so I ordered this as a replacement. Comes with a little Batman figure too

A friend wanted to see the size comparison between the Kaiyodo Tumbler and the recent LEGO release.

Msia a must have gone Lego crazy. I saw few pages back TRU at 1U had their stocks depleted. Their sets are at full blown retail prices! I was there when the stocks are full n shelves.

Even their vw camper, modulars are almost gone.
*
Yeah bro. Was there a couple days back. 2 Town Halls and 1 Tower Bridge left iirc.

A lot of people dunno they're overpriced or dunno alternative channels to purchase?

Any chance that GE will be discontinued before Fire Brigade?

I was under the impression the EOL would be in sequence or order by date release ie. FIFO (First In First Out).

Or am I wrong?
