Interested to hear what's your average loot for 200 trophy below.

Almost misread it as 200k.
At TH7, you should be able to raid $150k g/e above per raid. That is assuming you have 4*/5* troops.
Each building upgrades should cost more than 1m at TH7 and at the pace of 20k per raid would mean I have to grind 50 raids to earn $1m g/e, which to me doesn't sound like fun.

TH7 is actually the best base level to farm for g/e. Its because you're able to mass produce 4* troops and raid bases with high resource values while enjoying loot bonuses agains higher level TH bases. e.g. You're a TH7 base attacking a TH8 base with 100k worth of loot. You will earn 110% bonus since his TH level is a level higher, which means you will get 110k.

Anyway, if you're still raiding at 20k per base, I think you need to improvise your strategy. Most high level clans farm within the range of 1400 - 1700 trophies. But I do agree what you said. Farming is simple and straight forward. You can easily just mass produce lots of goblins and perhaps a few wall breakers and just aim for their storage or miners.
