Hey guys I tried downloading dota 2 few days ago until now and it restarted twice. The first time was probably because I shut down my desktop,but the second time happened when I came back from school after I left it on in the morning. I tried restarting steam,restarting the desktop,deleting the .blob files. Any suggestions?

If you're talking about the one where you go to the game properties and verify integrity of game cache i already did that but it still doesn't fix the problem. The first time I downloaded was 30-40%-ish can't remember how much. I don't know how many % was the last one though.

24GB+ More than enough. I forgot to mention that I downloaded the steam installer again and went through repair installation and halfway the process,it said "failed to poke firewall". What does it mean?

Nope. No luck. I probably will try downloading Dota 2 on a laptop then send the files over the desktop.

Some of you guys may remember me w/ problems with downloading Dota 2 on my computer as it keeps restarting. After that I tried it on my laptop. I install'd it,etc.

Then I downloaded Dota 2 and left it on overnight. After I woke up,it was 1.1GB then I just continue left it on for a few hours and it went back to 1%. And I just continue to left it on until it reached 2.7GB and it restarted again. Wat do.

And also, how big is your dota 2 files are actually in your steamapps folder. Because the download says 3.1GB but in the options of the game itself says 5GB+

I don't meet any of them 2-3 weeks time.

So is it redownloading to download that too? If so, I am relieved
