hi
anybody has stay in candidasa about 2 hrs from airport in the east part of bali? I've got free hotel stay for 7 nights at ROYAL BALI BEACH CLUB in January '09. Can i get 'supir' service from there to take around for 3 days.

yes exactly..but i know already how it works..same thing i experienced in kl..they want to promote their vacation club..so heres wht happen dat day..went to their office in jimbaran to register then spent next 3 hours listening to their promo presentation..then tour karma kandana in jimbaran (private club with breathtaking view from cliff)..got free drinks..at the end just said 'no thanks cant afford it'.

we received free tour (9.00am till 5.00pm) to ubud next day and also free stay for 1 week (choose bali, phuket or goa)

not bad huh?

my only concern now can 'supir' pick us there in candidasa since it is far away fom kuta/denpasar area

I also got free stay there. I'm going from 31/1/09-6/2/09. Its about 2 hours from airport.

Went to bali early this year and met Royal promoter in front of Matahari Mall. He told me to choose the cards he was holding and scratch it. He told me i won 7D free stay but need to follow him to Jimbaran for gift presentation by his boss. We spent 3 hours there for vacation club membership presentation and at the end we just said no thanks. We did get a free 1/2 day tour to Ubud and also get a free ride back to hotel. So booked the free 7D6N and paid USD100 for their admin fee. Hopefully the hotel is nice and Candidasa is not too boring to stay.

on 5th feb i went sandy beach in candidasa and then went to kuta which is 90 minutes away (sorry my mistake)

candidasa offers nothing much but a quiet place to hang around. me and family loves the hotel and surrounding area. before sunset u can wonder around the beach and watch village ppl mostly fisherman doing their daily activities

white sandy beach in candidasa is in a very secluded area n u need to ask ppl around to get there coz theres no signboard. its about 0.5km away from main road and very bumpy journey

airasia promo for march - RM88.00 return flight. damn cheap. going again on 28/2 - 2/3. just went there on 31/1-7/2 :D
